First of all, I'll ignore the fact that you said good luck (you know how the superstitions go and everything) and just assume you meant well. So thanks.

Every semester we have cattle call, which is open auditions for all the shows we're doing in a season. And, honestly, it's sad, but I can only think of two of the three shows we're doing fall semester: A Streetcar Named Desire and Footloose. I need a 60 second monologue (which my girlfriend is helping me with) and a song if I want to be involved in musicals. Several months ago, as something of a joke, I decided to sing "Part of Your World" from The Little Mermaid. The few people I told thought it was a cool idea, and I decided to do it. But now that I have two days to go, I'm getting slightly cold feet about singing for Ariel...

EDIT: Oh, yeah. Is there any reason why you capitalized the L in school?

3,800! That's a nice milestone to reach before school starts. I've made well over a thousand posts in this summer alone. I can't believe it's over. I feel nauseous. And that's mostly because I have auditions in less than 48 hours! My nervous twitch has started back up again.

A Question to the Older Members

I just want to clarify that I didn't start this thread to point out mistakes or to show that I'm condemning or complaining about "mistakes." I'm pretty tolerant with special effects, and I still believe that the Star Wars trilogy effects for the most part look great even today. And that's what's amazing about them. And the stuff that does stand out, like the rancor, just adds to the charm. I never complained about that as a kid. I just realized that they couldn't get everything perfect. That's just the way it is. It's a movie, and we're supposed to deal with it. No big deal.
