Yeah, girls who wouldn't know that annoy me. Without trying to sound sexist, it seems that so many of them just seem so oblivious to everything except what directly concerns them. Of course, I guess I could say that about most of my generation. So I'm glad I know so many girls who aren't like that.

I was so excited that they were utilizing Julie Madison in Batman and Robin, but that was totally wasted. It seems they put her in there to give Bruce an obligatory romance. If you'd edited her out, you never would have missed her.

Yeah, the whole thing does seem kinda bassackward, and that Pluto got it up the bassackwards as well. Imagine the planets walking into this conference room amid flashbulbs and jabbering paparazzi to meet with the scientists, eager to find out who it will be who gets to join their mighty ranks. "So, glad you all could make it," says the lead scientist, "but there's been a slight change in plans. Yeah, see, we've had some financial difficulties, and it turns out we won't be able to invite new members on the team after all." A collective "Awww," from the planets. Thanks YIYF and HLF. It's been a pretty good day, though, and I feel weird about that. I've been in good spirits. I mean, I've been thinking about it a lot, but I haven't really had an emotional response. I got the call so early in the morning that part of me wonders whether or not I dreamed it, even though I know I didn't. I'm not sure yet when the funeral's going to be, but I'm supposed to be a pallbearer along with my 5 other cousins.

I'm don't have a huge knowledge on the subject of effects, but if they wanted to fix the transparencies in the cockpit, couldn't they have simply used digital paint? How did they do that anyway, to the point where it's almost fixed but not completely?

Nope. The title of the book was HP and the Philosopher's Stone'. Apparently the studio didn't think American's would know what a philosopher was, and, y'know the movie's about wizards and sorcerors and shit, so better get that in the title somewhere for people who have been living on Mars and haven't heard of Harry Potter.

That was more Scholastic, actually, in bringing over the book. The movie just cashed in on the popularity of the title.

I also hate that nearly all my friends here seem to have... um, disappeared to somewhere else. Please stick around, guys. I know things will get better soon!

EDIT: I also wish that Jay wouldn't keep being so close-mouthed to all of us. I mean, this is his community, so it'd be nice if he acted like he was a part of it. It just doesn't seem like him at all to brush everyone off like he's been doing. I love this place, and I don't want to take sides, but when one side starts blowing off other people who haven't even done anything, it just makes me wonder. Sorry if that's construed as whining, but things have gotten very far out of hand. Everything's become too serious. And I really think that Jay is doing nothing but hurting this forum by closing himself off. And I say this not to bash or insult but just to express my own opinion and try my best to keep things this place from completely imploding.
