They'd better not have any of my covers there, too!

If I may ask, what did you use to author the BDs?
Try the 'spleen, if you've been invited.
That's all very well. But what really counts is the story, not retro visuals!

So I finally have the '77 version downloaded, and it's splendid - kudos to all involved!
Although if I did have to nitpick about something, it's that there's a slight bit of aliasing at least once in the film. But it's hardly noticeable. Come to think of it, there's a lot of motion smearing too, but that's just because it's an upscale.
I'll go burn it to a BD right now! Oh no, it's just half a gigabyte too large for my BD... what should I do now?
I though so too, but both discs burned and played fine for me. I used ImgBurn.
Oh thankyou! That seems to be doing the job.
It's actually quite hard to tell the difference.

For your convenience: my '92 VHS covers have been converted into 11mm format, and also is more generalized for any 720p master.

From my reading of his post, he thought Hayden in ROTJ wasn't actually Hayden, but an actor cast way back in '83 who looked like Hayden, since he wasn't aware that Lucas had tampered with the OT prior to his watching of it.
Admittedly, I also half-assumed that. All I needed, of course, was a refreshing of my memory.

From star wars.com:
THIS DAY IN STAR WARS HISTORY05.04.79THE FAN-COINED "MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU" SLOGAN GETS ITS FIRST MAJOR BOOST OF EXPOSURE WHEN THE LONDON EVENING NEWS USES IT IN A HALF-PAGE CONGRATULATORY NOTE TO MARGARET THATCHER, WHO HAD JUST WON TO BECOME BRITAIN'S FIRST WOMAN PRIME MINISTER
Maggie Thatcher started the Star Wars Day craze!!! OmO
I'm impressed already!
Huh! I hadn't noticed it was a still shot until you pointed it out.
Who says you have to use SE footage though?
Excellent!
Will that freeze-frame at the start be animated?
I came up with this:
The 4th will be with you. Probably. by FrankRT on deviantART
Can someone let me know when they're on Myspleen?
I'd go if I was in the area!
Loved every second! ...is 3PO's voice being remixed?
Ah, that's a shame! :( I think we all know how impressive he was in Who Framed Roger Rabbit?.
Maybe by the end of the year. Or the next.
All I've got so far is to lift the Throne Room music up a semitone or so, to make the lead into the end credits maintain continuity with the other five films.
Can you identify what's on the film strip?

As part of the production team, you'd think we're constantly feeding him "obscure" fixes, but he finds & fixes all these on his own.
Truly, he's a master of the art.
