Oh, something like the Infinities comics? Sounds like fun!
Oh, something like the Infinities comics? Sounds like fun!
Oh yeah, I definitely see that! I’m surprised, you’d think they’d have more control of this sort of thing! Although admittedly the BD picture is a little clearer.
Looks good! Although the starfield is bleeding out a bit at the top of the screen.
Anyone seen the 2010 DCP on 'spleen?
Does anyone have recordings of the Special Edition TV spots with high quality sound?
A deleted sequence in The Force Awakens shows the First Order burning books. Presumably books from the original Expanded Universe.
Wario64I said:
Luke’s and Leia’s roles are reversed
Oh, so Leia rescues Luke and blows up the Death Star and becomes the Jedi Knight? I mean, that’d be an interesting AU.
No, but if you can spare a PS4 case, that’ll be fine.
Okey-dokey. Looking forward to it!
One other thing: you know that slightly different LucasFilm text in ROTJ? I think it might apply to ESB too. Will that be addressed?
So presumably those shots will be replaced in v2.5?
Hooray!!
Something like that.
TRACK 20) 2.0 Dolby Digital [English] (2011 BD Archival Interviews Audio Commentary - recut to fit this release)
TRACK 22) 2.0 Dolby Digital [Music] (Isolated Score)
Where’s Track 21?
Yes, that’s about right. I’m fairly sure there was some sorting during the restoration process.
OK, encoding is done on both the MKV and AVCHD versions. I’m probably gonna give them a watch tomorrow and then I should be all set for the Sunday release. 😃
Oh, it’s finished already?!
A kids movie? So that’s why the original version was full of blood, exploding heads, arms being pulled off, humanoid looking aliens sliced into several pieces, alien bounty hunters being toasted alive? Yeah, a typical kids movie.
Yes, I know, he toned down most of the violence in post production and even more in the 1997 SE, but still the movies have many deaths, many arms cut off, the prequels have even things like that Anakin burning alive scene …
Exploding heads? What? I know Kylo Ren’s a Scanner, but… when did anyone’s head ever explode in the Star Wars Trilogy?
So I guess the team will have to change cameras then?
This fine grain look is amazing. Somehow it brings out little details better than the Blu-ray does! Are you working with Harmy on DeEd 3.0?
You know, I’m pretty bummed out about it now. I knew it was going to happen one day. This is a great loss to our society! Now all three versions of Star Tours have Jar Jar in them! You’d think they’d give us some kind of choice?
Thanks for bringing that site to our attention; I’ll have to check it out!
I like it! Very contemporary, tells me what I want to know.
Maybe they could just ask.
I’m hoping somebody among us knows someone who works at Disneyland and can hook us up with the footage.
I don’t like sand…
http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/films/news/carrie-fisher-almost-played-sandy-in-grease-a6838681.htmlI can imagine an awful lot … but I’m having trouble imagining her in the role.
I can imagine her being in Singin’ in the Rain - since her mother was.
