Basic flat looking Disney show…yep that about somes up my reaction too. It looks somewhat interesting but I’m just WAY over Jedi and their robes and their religious blundering. After Andor season 2 it’s looking extremely boring and bleak unless they bring Tony Gilroy to a different SW project. He gets it.
Sounds like we’re back to utilizing “the volume” then.
If you weren’t referring to any members on this board who don’t have gushing thoughts about any upcoming SW projects…then why did you mention it in the first place? Did you think anyone here wanted to hear your rant on “hating the haters”? Still is not the place for your personal vitriol against a 0000.01% minority.
Patronizing terms such as “click haters” and “fandumb menace” are not welcome here. You can be excited for a project you know little about without having to label and ridicule posters on this forum. For some reason, when people watch the Prequels first, they tend to like them more than if they watch them after the OT.

All I know is I have zero interest in a Mando movie…this “Thrawn movie” or the Rey movie. 🤷♂️ After Andor season 2 it’s just all bleak and weak.
I use to be a “Filoni should be in charge” kind of guy for a while. Not so much anymore…Ahsoka was so terribly written and he still doesn’t have the feel for live action. Oh well, better than nothing…which seems to be what was in charge before…just nothing and anarchy.
Filoni apparently had ZERO to do with Andor…that’s telling you something.
How’s it supposed to look? I guess that’s the job of good writers with imagination. Making it look like Aldhani from Andor was just lazy and uninspiring. That’s like arguing that Hoth should have looked just like Tatooine because “how else would it look?”
While interesting is debatable. I’d say an entirely new galaxy qualifies as new.
Yet it didn’t feel “new” whatsoever. Looked just like anything else in the inner/outer rim SW galaxy. 🤷♂️
I would expect this quality of writing never to show up again. 😔. They only hired Tony Gilroy because he mastered the Rogue One script…then they wanted him to helm the show about Andor. But it’s too good…looking at the writers for BOBF. Kenobi, Ahsoka and Mando…that’s what “they” want amd I’m sure we’re going to get WAY more of that…Andor will just be a diamond in the rough. 🤷♂️
Imagine if it didn’t have the “Clone Wars Anakin” thing or any Thrawn…what the hell would anybody geek out about from it all? There’s just nothing to ponder or think about with these shows. They desperately need good co-writers for these shows, Tony Gilroy quality. We’re just constantly seeing concept stories greenlit and amateurs put in charge.
Essentially…they had alot of nerve not calling this Star Wars Rebels season 5.

Other than “memmber berries” I can’t see why this show would be exciting to the average viewer…or any fan who was wanting something that stands on its own. People are crying over Hayden showing up,.flashing into Vader or just SEEING Thrawn. What else is being highlighted? Where’s the story that had to be told? Fans are declaring it the best thing ever just because they saw Hayden in Clone Wars armor. THAT gets a 10/10??? Like…even if he didn’t say anything all that important or really serve a necessary purpose for being there…it automatically gets high praise?
So far I love the show. The portrayal of Sabine is EXCELLENT!
Does anyone else get the sense that Ahsoka seems like one of the least interesting aspects of the show so far? Maybe it’s just because I feel like all of the other aspects shine so bright, but to be honest, I think Rosario Dawson’s portrayal seems a little dull compared to how we’ve seen Ahsoka in other series. Maybe that’s on purpose? This version of Ahsoka seems a bit more jaded after everything she’s been through. It seems like she has a lot of growing to do in terms of being a master and as a person. Maybe Sabine will bring back her more lively and youthful optimism? I hope so…

It’s certain because every character in the show is acting the same way. Everyone is rightfully singing the praises of Ray Stevenson but even he is clearly getting told not to show a lot of emotion.
Well, I mean it’s not “certain” because there is no quote or direct proof to the matter…merely fan conjecture. We do not know the behind the scenes of this show.

because Lightsaber stab is not a stant kill, qui gon died because obi wan was fighting with darth maul, there is no way that obi could stop the fight to help him, after the fight quigon was dying but not dead if he got medical help during the fight maybe he would be slive in the saga

I woulda done away with the whole “fear of loss leads to evil” or whatever. Instead, I’d rather that Anakin have a god complex and think that he needs to inherit as much power as possible to maintain order across the galaxy. I think that aligns more with the Empire’s values anyways. I would also probably have Obi-Wan be the central character of the PT, rather than Anakin, and have Anakin’s downfall happen at the end of the second movie, and then the third movie is all about Obi-Wan coming to terms with things.
A god complex would be intriguing, there is a foundation for that in AOTC with Anakin conversation with Padme:
Padme: You are not all powerful Ani.
Anakin: Well I should be. Someday I will be. I will become the most powerful Jedi ever! I promise you. I will even learn how to stop people from dying.In those lines Anakin says he wants omnipotence like a god, and to control death is god like too.
Well that’s where the films went…controlling death was his whole obsession in ROTS.
I don’t know why anyone has their hopes up on this show…given the track record of their writers recently. But I guess even I hope it’ll be cool. 🤷♂️
I don’t wish the movie harm, I just know it sucks to be fooled like 8 times in a row but still have “hope” that it’ll maybe suddenly have quality writing and directing. Other than Tony Gilroy, I have plenty of evidence not to trust the rest of the creative and writing departments.
