If you reference Anne Coulter, you have failed.
Quoted for truth!
Note: I always wanted to do that.

you're an idiot and you're nuts.
What the hell?! What's with the venom and the name calling?
Agreed. Warbler: WTF?
It's all good. These issue within this thread do dwell us a lot of emotion. Warbler has been having some issues with a beloved pet that is very very ill.
(see random thoughts thread)
Emotions can run hi in any of us during stressful times in our life. Please do not lay into the guy. I did not take anything to heart. At times I can be a bit too pressing on subjects that are hot button issues to some.
Peace to you all!

Am I dead yet?
The End of the World may not be a physical end, but a spiritual shift. Like the band R.E.M. once sang. "It's the End of the Word as We Know It, and I feel fine".
I just watched the film "Apocalypto", and that showed an end to a civilization, by the introduction of alien visitors that changed the lives of the indigenous peoples of North, Central, and South America forever. It was to them, the end of their world. So don't get stuck in thinking that the "end of the world" will bring visual destructive manifestations on a biblical scale all at once. The change of things may not be felt by everyone at the same moment, and it may be veiled to most at the spiritual level.
So I'm dead, then?
The real question may just be, have you ever truly lived?

"Apocalypto"
Seemed appropriate to view this film tonight. Beautiful cinematography, tragic story. Mel Gibson should have gotten a lot more credit and praise for this one, but his personal problems at the time of it's release overshadowed this wonderful film.
Two eaten balls out of two.

Something I hadn't thought about until now, is there is surely going to be lots and lots of before-the-end-of-the-world-shagging.
Man: [emerges from closet, fixing his tie] Woman: Will I ever see you again? Man: Sure, baby. Next meltdown.
STOP! STOP!
Now you just stop that kind of talk! You are upsetting my delicate sensibilities!

Hey now! I liked Generations and First Contact, and while there was some action, there was more to them than that. ST II, III, V, and VI were pretty action oriented as well, I thought.
The original 60's series was an action show. Kirk had some type of hand to hand in most of the episodes, but TNG was much much more cerebral in it's focus. Picard hardly ever had a hand to hand combat in the TNG episodes, and the rest of the crew mostly did the point and shoot thing.

Want to talk conspiracy? Consider the pat men.
Is pat man real? Is he a sock? If so, for whom?
Who was pat man 2?
Who was pat man 3?
Is pat man = pat man 2 = pat man 3?
The questions never end. The fun cannot be halted. The future is truly now.
Let me sleep on that and get back to you in the mor... Oh crap!
I have a question.
Being that the world is ending in less then a day, and I have one 19.9 FL OZ bottle of spring water, A packet of Ramen (chicken flavor) soup, some crackers, and a tin of Sardines, Would I be considered one of them dooms day preppers? Just asking, because I don't want to spend the last few seconds of existence in some government detention center you know.

May God bless and keep you.
That "All in The Family" movie sounds so exciting! But now, I keeping wondering what a Quentin Tarantino version of "Maud" would be like.

Sandy was an inside job!
Some ARE saying it was HAARP induced. That's what the buzz was on YouTube during and right after the storm. ;)
Edit: I left out the second A in HAARP. Woops...
"There's a storm coming Mr. Wayne. You and your friends better batten down the hatches…you’re all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large, and leave so little for the rest of us."
Did we not just have a storm hit Gotham (NYC) called "Sandy"?
Just asking?
I will pray for all of us!
There is only one way out, and that is JESUS!
It's the most freaked out thing. The map matches Google earth, and the School is circled!! How the heck is this even possible? Anyone?
