A shame really! :-(
A shame really! :-(
Whoever it was that conjured the idea of Luke and Leia talking about their mother by moving it to the end of the film prior to the Victory Celebrations I can definitely get behind. Of course the talk about Luke having to face Vader and Han appearing will need to be removed. The only problem with this though is how to setup Luke surrendering to Vader earlier on.
British Steel (& Travis): Revisited :-PFor all those who know their Judas Priest lol!
Ah yes Ady addressed that issue in the original Revisited release, so you have nothing to worry about! :-)
Hoom hoom next thing you know we'll have Treebeard on Dagobah (don't be silly)!!! :p
Holy FRAK those creatures!!! It's starting to remind me of the Spiders in the Mirkwood Forest which Bilbo and the Dwarves are soon to encounter in the upcoming Desolation of Smaug film.... :)
If memory serves me correctly Ady had a model of the Canyon built. What are the odds that he is aware of this little ditty and has already fixed this scene?! ;-)
FAT?! LMAO I think it was just a lack of detail from the previous transmission if you ask me.
Very nice indeed! :-)
Heck just borrow some of Dee Bradley Baker's lines from the Clone Wars and be done with it! :p
Also makes me wonder when the new Rebels series comes out whether we'll see the transition from Clone Trooper to Stormtrooper, but that's a topic to be discussed elsewhere.
Going back to the Phantom Menace, somebody on the Facebook page suggested that the Gungan City should be abandoned prior to the Jedi and Jar Jar arriving as if it were in ruin. Then later in the film we learn that they're alive and well. The only difficulty however would be no dialogue between Qui Gon and Obi Wan explaining what had happened however Jar Jar supposedly with his altered voice could help with this.

Coming back to more simple issues with ESB, I was just watching the film and was reminded of something that always kind of bugged me. Escaping Bespin, Leia points up and says "Star Destroyer!" but when we see the shot of the Executor out the window, it's really not anywhere near where Leia's pointing.
Does Ady plan on modifying that out-the-window shot to show the Executor to be more above the Falcon?
I kinda like this idea. Would be quite impressive to watch plus we've never really seen how miniscule the Falcon looks compared to the Executor.
May as well include a few Pit Droids while you're at it ;-)
Alright let's build up an Executor model so we can film that flying over instead, shall we?! :p
All you people doubting that it's not the Executor, you've all got to be kidding me?! Why the hell would that be a flyover shot obscuring all those other other SD's with another SD?! I've known that was the Executor from the first time I ever saw that scene. Like others have said, this bickering is pointless!!
Every time I look at the Executor from that angle it just doesn't look right. It's like you're looking under the SSD or something.
Great Hotfile has got your link removed and I can't view the Vimeo clip from a mobile. Wait til I finish work I suppose! :-P

I'd imagine something like the Wampa attack might have happened even if Mark hadn't improved his face with a car crash.
Wampas are basically Yeti (just as Wookiees are Sasquatch) and the attack riffs the Tuscan scene in the first film (both end with an arm on the ground) just as the Imperials being picked off attacking the reactor to knock out the Rebel spherical weapon mirrors the rebels being picked off attacking the reactor of the imperial spherical weapon in the first film.
The escape pod carrying droids mirrors the landing capsule carrying the probot.
In the lost cut of Star Wars (1977) Luke is looking up at the sky with binoculars and this gets recycled in ESB.
Just something Bingo brought up on another thread about the ANH-ESB relationship.
I find some of these repetitions between the movies quite interesting, as they can be used to address how a character has developed by having them deal with a situation differently.
There are some obvious repetitions between ROTJ and ANH with the Death Star (which really don't achieve this at all), but I was wondering if any events or interactions could be built to repeat constructively?
The only one I could think of first, was to re-edit the SAIL BARGE ASSAULT to mimick the FALCON ESCAPE from bespin. The heroes could just fight and escape on the skiff, and not necessarily destroy jabba and his sail barge (it always felt too much like an overpowering victory romp to me, when that sensation should be saved for the end of the movie). The musical ques could be also be altered so they match the scene from ESB.
Yeah I wouldn't mind that. However, seeing that Leia has still killed Jabba so she could make her escape .... actually I could still go along with that and then perhaps while the party are leaving Tattooine, we have a bunch of Jabba's goons trying to prevent their departure - but again that would be Docking Bay 94 all over again....
About the Easter Egg with a bunch of Nooooooo's, I say do it lol. Just thinking about Vader when Luke falls will be bloody hilarious!
And speaking on the subject of Wampas, wouldn't it have been cool if Ady and Co. recreated that deleted scene to take out some Stormtroopers etc. Could even hire that Vader actor to get a little more involved too.

From the script (emphasis mine):
Darth Vader strides purposefully down a Death Star corridor, flanked by Imperial stormtroopers.
VADER: Several fighters have broken off from the main group. Come with me!
Vader's wingman panics at the sight of the oncoming pirate starship and veers radically to one side, colliding with Vader's TIE fighter in the process. Vader's wingman crashes.
The debate is over. ;-)
It's perfectly logical! ;)
Yeah I think it flows pretty well enough. I'd like to see the Executor shown at the start of the film too. :)
And should the movie continue that route it'll be interesting how they can make the briefing scene happen as it will be likely that Luke will be there the entire time now.

Here's the opening of Jedi that I'd love to see. It's quite close to what Possesed is working on for his edit, but still different. I'm no good at posting pics to show exactly what I'm talking about, but I hope you can follow.
Opening text would have to be altered to mention that Luke has returned to Dagobah to continue his training.
After opening text, we pan down to Darth Vaders Super Stardestroyer near the uncompleted Death Star
Cut to Darth Vader in his mediation chamber talking to Luke telepathically through the force urging him to join him on the darkside.
cut to the deleted scene of Luke in the cave working on his new light saber. Edit the exterior of the cave to resemble Dagobah. Luke shakes the voice in his head and continues working and then igniting his saber.
Cut back to the Super Stardestroyer and we see Vader's shuttle leave for the Death Star (why was he leaving from a standard Stardestroyer originally?) continue to the original opening scene with Vader and Jerrod.
After that, cut to Yoda's hut on Dagobah for Yoda's death scene. After Luke says "So I am a Jedi." Cut Yoda's line about having to face Vader again and just cut to him saying "When gone am I, the last of the Jedi will you be." This way we get the idea that Luke has continued and now finished his training with Yoda. Yoda dies, the conversation with Obi-Wan is had and then cut to the Emperors arrival on the Death Star. That scene plays out like normal and then cut to the droids on Tattooine and continue from there.
This would give the beginning of the film a more menacing tone with Vader still haunting Luke and more of a build up to the action at Jabba's palace. Agree? Disagree?
This sounds brilliant would love to see this!!
I too think that would be brilliant to see but if what will need to be addressed is how Luke acts around Leia on Tattooine after having now known that she is his sister. I'm sure Ady has a few aces in his sleeve! :)
Well Ady does intend on coming to a final decision regarding the music in the duel. Whether it still needs to be sped up or not well that too remains to be seen. As for the electric needle I believe that's going along with finding a way to restore that iconic scene with Tarkin and the Death Star exploding.
Well Ady has already made it clear that Threepio will NOT be created by Anakin and we may not see him til ROTS:R where he'll mainly serve Senator Amidala. That pointless scene seeing the Droids in that Droid Factory was just lame as hell!!
As for Yoda well at least with the Bluray release the Muppet form has been replaced with CGI Yoda to match with the rest of the Trilogy.
The underwater transport to the Planet Core gladly will be removed but I wouldn't mind the Gungans staying. At least Ady is already planning to alter Jar Jar's voice not to mention much of his foolish antics.

**BATTLE OF HOTH CLIP NOW AVAILABLE**
Link is broken.
Vimeo have deleted it. I got an email from them claiming that i had broken their terms and conditions. I contacted a member of their team to explain that it isn't just a direct clip from a movie, but contained a lot of work done by myself, but got a snarky reply back from them saying "maybe you should start making your own movies instead of playing with other peoples and then the videos wouldn't get deleted". Funny how they haven't touched the three comparison videos i have posted there though.
Wow a snarky comment!! Isn't that rather unprofessional from their part? I wouldn't have taken that lightly - morons!!!!
