I do recall Ady mentioning that he intends on altering Hayden's voice for PT:R. He may as well create something new for the Battledroids too perhaps.

Even when you have an interesting design (like the basic battledroids) they look delicate, diminutive and plastic which is where Lucas seems to want to go with them story wise but them renders them not menacing (ironically seeing as they debut in TPM) and reduces the emotional impact they can leave.
Early drawings had the same design scaled up so they were 8ft tall with a brushed steel look.
They were based on the Epstein's Rock Drill which looks much more menacing and solid :
To some extent the PT needs it's ethos rejigged much more than it needs it's CGI replaced.
It's really unfortunate that George made those Battledroids so comedic and stupid. It takes everything away from how dangerous they really could be. It's like as if he borrowed from the Daleks voice-wise too. At least they were menacing and they even scared my Dad as a kid too lol! Heck even while the Super Battledroids may be more dangerous they still look goofy. And those Commando Droids on The Clone Wars may still come close but again, no cigar!! If anything the voices should probably be removed altogether. And I hate to admit it but the Battledroids talking on TCW does crack me up, though it should never really have happened in the first place!! :p
To date I must say the T-800 Terminator machines of the future are still the most intimidating machines next to the T-1000 perhaps. What else comes close?
I don't think it's that bad really. Now how cool would it have been if he Force Jumped towards Jabba's Sail Barge, catching his lightsaber in mid-air and his next move - cut a long vertical slash along the side of his hull. So many possibilities.... :)
An idea I had for ROTJ:R.
Wondering about when they make their way from the battle of Sarlaac and the not forgetting the Droids line. It has been talked about before whether Artoo could end up using his rocket boosters to glide across to the skiff after he knocks Threepio into the sand below. Perhaps there could be a trick where Luke uses the force to carry him aboard or something just to eliminate the slapstick effect?
May 2013. That sounds like a good release date, for obvious reasons.... :)

Had no idea about this project and I did give this game a try back when it came out but never got to play through the entire thing. Might have to pick up an old Gamecube copy at some stage through Ebay or something (I wonder if the WiiU will be doing a Virtual Console for GC games though).

- Other Jedi Force Ghosts appear around Luke during the Endor celebrations. Just blurs from Plo Koon, Kit Fisto, Ahsoka Tano and Shaak Ti etc dancing around with the Ewoks. Mace Windu does a Spinerooni! :D
- Captain Rex comes out of nowhere to shoot down a few Stormtroopers eventually getting a little reluctant assistance from then-Commander Cody! :p
- Asajj Ventress to Obi-Wan (tracks him down on Tattooine): "I'm carrying your baby." - okay that was lame!!!
I wonder if Ady could hire some actors to play holographic officers stationed on other ships (like how a few of the Jedi Council members were not actually present at the Jedi Temple for example) to make the numbers look more convincing. Perhaps some can say a few more lines to explain the threat more clearly or something. Surely with the audio being remixed the pacing wouldn't be altered that much....
Heck I'm sure Ming and his mates etc could do the deed like they did while participating in the Hoth battle lol. ;)

It's funny how I actually found Jedi to be my favourite of the Trilogy coming from a kid of 8 years. I never even came to realise how flawed the film is about 25+ years later. I now agree that Empire is indeed the superior film, and agreed that Jedi needs a LOT of work to make it more consistent with the rest of the Trilogy. George most certainly sold out come Jedi and Richard Marquand certainly didn't help matters either. And how rushed the finished product turned out to be too. I mean look at the continuity errors of the Space Battle for example (yes we're all aware of that lol). Looking forward to seeing how ROTJ:R will eventually turn out. I wonder with much of the ideas proposed, will Ady integrate into his edit.
Once again I will gladly make a number of healthy donations towards the cause. :)
I wonder if some of those redundant lines that Adywan omitted from ESB04 could somehow be added into the end of ANH:RSE? I'm sure some of those lines could be added somehow....

Funny how I recall Harrison Ford on Oprah how many years back how he was never a fan of Han Solo, saying there was no depth in his character. Talk about a waste indeed. Han saving Boba from the Sarlaac you say? Wonder if Lando could get switched with Boba and somehow Lando is somewhere else amongst the fighting?
After that Boba doesn't really thank Han at all and would just fly off having second thoughts about killing him there on the spot. Hmm perhaps Ady could hire a genuine body double for mainly Solo. Camera pointing behind Han's shoulder or something like that?

Okay going back on topic.... For those of you who have seen the 3 episode Malevolence Arc on the 1st Season of the Clone Wars, I'd love to see the Executor taken down in a similar way the Malevolence was being destroyed engines catching fire and all. I loved the way Filoni and Co. handled those episodes. I think I'll go back and watch them now! ;)
Well at least one things for sure - Ady's version of the PT is that Padme will not be dying.... until later I suppose. Something has me wondering what if she did end up going to Alderaan in the end?

I guess they deemed it wasn't necessary given that they were so overconfident their technological terror was going to get the job done but to no avail. :p
And I just read that Ady wasn't going to be making any further additions to ANHR:SE so I guess the suggestions I made won't be happening. Ah well.... ;)
I think I'll anticipate a December release. It will be this next to The Hobbit that I'll be also be looking forward to and that will pretty much make up my month. Still if it's any time sooner then awesome. But for now I'd like Ady to take his time and a December release date sounds a little attractive to me that way. :)
News or no news heh - I look forward to the surprises Adywan has in store for us, so the lesser the spoilers I say. ;)

Which would open things up for a much better "Birth of Vader" type scene. More spiritual and akin to a knighting ceremony than the scientific "operating table" scene that we DID get....

Now THAT would be an iconic scene. Would be nice to actually see that at the end instead of Vader joining Palpatine overseeing the construction of the Death Star. No dialogue required - nothing but music instead. Man what an overhaul the PT:R is going to be lol. And I'm liking the idea of Padme not having to die either. Say she was on Alderaan when it blew up. What if Vader found out during ROTJ somehow like say what if the Emperor knew she was on the planet when it exploded or something?
Oh and I'd still prefer it that Leia does remain Luke's sister despite the incestuous kiss lol. All this "there is another" business etc. Obvious there were signs in ESB in the first place so I wouldn't have that aspect changed.... at all.
Ah just as I thought, as I'm sure Adywan would have mentioned it in his Info Clip Version anyway. ;)

Oh really? I read something along those lines but never really took much notice. I just downloaded the DL version of the movie yesterday. As soon as I've burned it to disc I'll check it out. Cheers for that. :)
