Last non-HP film I saw was It's Complicated.
That's what I'm watching right this moment. Gotta love Alec Baldwin.
Before, I watched Raising Arizona. One of my all time favorites.

Why would fantasia have a widescreen version? It came out in 1940 when movies were shown in standard.
I also boycotted the release and left a negative review on amazon.
It was a crop job in the mid 50's. I was thinking of doing my own, but I've decided not to.
Then there will be like 5,000 enterprises gathered at one point in space.
One thing is for sure, we all like Star Wars. No matter what decade we saw it, or how old we were, we all liked it in some way. It begs the question of how you feel about compared to how you felt about it say 30 years ago, 20, or 10.
Now I am not talking about the changes, I am talking the essence of the originals. Is the nostalgia as strong? Do you see a kenner figure as a piece of gold at yard sales? Do you do certain things in life because of Star Wars, say a job or something?
I would like to here it from others like me, pre 97 fans. Really the core question is, do you like it as much as you did at the beginning, or is it one of those pleasures that have never been topped?
Is the posters still on the wall? Share your childhood or like some of our Old farts, your early adulthood. Share the things you did with friends, or your first Star Wars experience. I am just interested, because when it comes to Star Wars, the experiences I had while watching them were what made it worth while.
I think George stole the idea from David. "Hmmm, Vader is actually Luke's father? Now people will really think my work is genius. DAVID STOP GIVING THE FANS SPOILERS OR I WON'T PAY YOU. I DON'T CARE IF I PROMISED TO USE YOUR VOICE IN STAR WARS!!!"

Maybe a more dramatic version of the poor ROTJ's briefing room.
Far more interesting lighted and colored while keeping a nice mood and an OT feel.

Hell it could work in the AOTC room too.
"Indy fights a bunch of Zombies" sounds badass? How could this possibly suck, well it sounds impossible but Steve Perry achieved the suckiness of this suckfest. While I loved Shadows of the Empire (though it felt a little childish at times) this book fails completely.
Read this book and you may find yourself waking up with it on your face on chapter 2.
I was never really good with sabers, mine always look odd.
Splinter is definitely incestering, I mean interesting. It is a good read considering the thought that if Star Wars bombed this would be the sequel not Empire.
Great work, I always loved the Struzan posters, but always felt they were too empty. Great posters, but they just never represented the films in my opinion. ROTS is a major improvement and I applaud your decision to remove Vader.
Samuel Jackson does seem a little, slapped in there. I would suggest making him block Jar Jar.
Orange you glad I said apple???

If it has 120/240Hz settings, turn it off. It makes everything look weightless and rubbery (in other words, fake).
Thanks for the tip, I will check and see when I go to watch it later.
Not really that much of a stretch from the original set price:
42inch LG LCD 1080p TV for $599. With proper calibration, it looks wonderful. Didn't need a plasma.
My dad wants to get a 42 inch tv around the 500$ price range. He isn't looking for anything too fancy, I would just like to know what would be the best options.
I have looked at the differences between LCD, LED, Plasma, and I really can't decide. All the info I have found is biased.
I really don't know much about tvs, but I would like to find something that has good colour, good blacks, and a tv you can view at all angles. The room it will be in is not terribly bright, only a slight bit of sun gets in.
I figure you guys would be the best to decide, I don't think he really cares if it is 720p or 1080p, but if 1080p can be found in the price range, it is a plus.
I still use the old CRTs so I have no idea. It's my dad, he doesn't want 3d or anything like that, just a great tv.
Originally Walt Disney wanted to have perfumes sprayed into the audience at showings of Fantasia.
"I've had it with these monkey fighting snakes on this monday to friday plane!!!"

Has Lucas heard of the Redead from Zelda? THERE'S a sound that'll make you shit yourself (or maybe it's that they suddenly lunge at and rape you - I can't remember which).
Oh god. I've been playing Ocarina of Time again* and those things freak me the hell out as much as they ever did. That sound, dear lord that horrible horrible sound . . . the low groaning when they're just standing there, then that piercing screech when they spot you, and then the necromancy rape if you can't get away . . .
It's one of the most terrifying things ever, except somehow it is simultaneously awesome, just because it's so freaky! ;)
*I'm playing the uncensored original version with the real Fire Temple music, the Islamic chanting which was unfortunately cut and replaced in later re-issues.
I thought I was the only one who had a problem with the re-deads. Those things scared the crap out of me back in the day.
I still have my uncensored copy of OOT and I will hold onto it until death.
Re-deads aside, these wampas in Shadows of the Empire kept me from beating the game for 10 years, because I was chicken.
For once I actually wanted to pat George on the back.

I have no problem with this at all.
I would be happier if Lucas didn't write or direct them but let a more competent team put them together.
SW fan JJ Abrams would be ideal....or perhaps Christopher Nolan.
J
Please no JJ Abrams. He fucked Star Trek already
I didn't like his directing on Star Trek, but I do think he is a great writer. Christopher Nolan is a good director, but I don't know what he could contribute to Star Wars visually, it would take a good cinematographer.
