It has a taste of the original trilogy, but there's way too much pretentious-epic shit flying around that screams prequels.

That was great!!
German singer Bobolina has a natural beauty.
Then Peggy Lee, one of the greatest singers of the golden age had that sophisticated beauty.

I think something like this is long overdue. Dark Forces and Shadows of the Empire are two of my all time favorite games, and mostly because they put me in the SW universe, but not as one of the main characters and not as some Jedi. I've always felt that the SW universe was this massive place we got to see so little of, and the majority of the people living in this world don't use the force.
Of course, Dark Forces and Shadows of the Empire were both really good games for their time, I have my doubts LucasArts is even capable of producing a quality title anymore, I am fully expecting a typical generic 3rd person affair that fails to do anything substantial or ground breaking or even be on par with its competing titles. The Force Unleashed was absolute crap and is probably the best they've made in several years. They know with SW titles they don't have to try to make an amazing groundbreaking product, with the SW label on it, it is going to sell regardless.
I'd truly love a fun SW game set in the classic SW universe. I am not going to get excited about this or follow its production (because LA simply hasn't shown themselves to be a developer worthy of getting excited about), but if it comes out and gets above average reviews, I might just go out and drop some money on a silly Star Wars game for the first time since... Jedi Knight II... wow, can't believe it has been that long (or as I like to call it, Star Wars: Dark Forces III: Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast).
I'm the exact same way. Jedi are cool and all, but the smugglers make for more fun.
I thought "Oh crap another shitty Star Wars game", but when I heard that it was going to be mature I changed my tune.
Looks pretty interesting. Seeing tie fighters makes me even more interested, meaning it's set in the more interesting era of Star Wars.

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been on much lately. I got a job, and I haven't had too much time to come on, but I'll get in the swing of things and get back on.
how dare you!
quit the job and get back here. that is an order!!
If I got paid for coming on here, I would. Even for a third the pay.

Ok, these are the new and improved covers, with disk art that doesn't have a template over it. I fixed grammar, and hopefully any issues with color, though my monitor isn't the best judge. The box is being postponed.

{NOTICE: This preview was made before errors were brought to my attention, but it is pretty much what you get}
As I stated before, if you have any problems with the link, give a shout.
ESF, any chance you'd re-upload these? I'll archive them with the rest of the ones I've got in case anyone else needs them.
Thanks
Oops, been a while. Thanks for telling me.
No Lucy Lawless love?
I'll play along
I've been pretty patient. I'm anticipating ROTJ:R even more. If Ady's done this much work on what is considered by many as the best one, imagine what he'll do with ROTJ.
The asian horror marathon continued tonight with..
Kairo : Pulse
This film isn't easy to get into. You really have to give your full attention. There were some moments where I would go "Ok, what?" So I would have to rewind to get what was going on. It's a very dark film. Might have been the director's choice, but most of the time, I couldn't see a thing.
That being said, the movie isn't lacking in the beauty of the other films I listed. This movie didn't scare me, but it did grab my attention. What really made the movie creepy was the sound.
Instead of showing your baddies in nice bold lighting, they are hidden. The sound takes their place.
This film has some good special effects later on. Considering the film is 11 years old, it's got some good CGI, I've seen worse done recently on a much bigger budget. Can't complain too much. Some of the effects could be seen as a little cheesy, but they are used sparingly and only carry the story.
Overall these films have focused more on feelings of dread than a cheap scare. While I probably won't have nightmares, this film will stay in my memories. It's very much it's own film.
7/10
The marathon will continue... after which I will seek more foreign horror films. Feel free to suggest some, though I refuse to watch anything with gore. I want to be scared, not disgusted.
I've started a bit of a marathon this week of asian horror movies. I've been watching them all in their respective languages.
Ju-on : The Grudge
While this movie didn't offer up any scares, it kept me very interested. The film was very gritty, unlike it's over produced American counterpart. While they are both the same director, I think having a lower budget made for greater creativity in the Japanese version.
9/10
Ringu
While I don't see the American version as being all that scary, it's terrifying compared to the original. What the japanese version destroys it with, is the overall composition of the film. It looks amazingly gritty. It reminds me of Jacob's Ladder at times, as far as look. It looks much older than it actually is.
7/10
Dark Water
I saw the American version a long while back. I didn't really hate the movie, I just felt it was more boring than scarey. This film like the others, isn't really that terrifying, but it definitely sets the mood. I loved the overall look of the film. Like Ringu, it looked more like it was shot in the 80's than the early 00's. This film doesn't really try to get you with many hooks. Like many J-horror films, this one plays on your emotions more than your fears.
7.5/10
Uzumaki
This wasn't part of my marathon, but I figured since it's j-horror, and this is an asian horror list, it had to get a mention.
Uzumaki is such an odd film. Like most j-horror, it's shot in such a different way. This film is weird. So weird, I laughed at times at how weird it is.
It's not effective as a horror film. I recommend watching this as you would a dark comedy.
8/10 as a comedy
3/10 as a horror.
To be continued...
I love Scooby Doo, so yes!!!

I deactivated my Facebook. I feel bad, but I don't. No one used it to contact me anyway. And the few who did had my email address.
I'm thinking about deactivating mine. I waste entirely too much time on there.
I'd be happy with them all. My hatred of Indy 4 has kind of settled down lately. To me it's the highest quality thing George Lucas has done in 20 years.
Harmy, thank you so much. You've brought the heat and the grittiness back to the film.

Now, here is what the set will look like, I still haven't added any logos. The fronts and sides will stay as is, but the backs will contain the FOX logos and whatnot.
The thing I am most proud of is the colour work I did to Return Of The Jedi's poster. I hated how saturated and blue it was, so I toned it down a bit to work with the other posters, let's face it ANH and Empire had the best posters.
Does anyone still have these covers. If so can you please upload them because megaupload got shutdown.
Thankfully I held on to them. Here you go. Mediafire's been treating me right lately. Kind of a bigger file, but oh well.

Dawn Summers - Buffy The Vampire Slayer
The show was beginning to get a little boring after High School was over for Buffy, so changes were made. Joss Whedon is an amazing writer when his shows don't last very long (FIREFLY), but when a show lasts as long as Buffy did, things just tend to go nowhere.
Somewhere in the last 25% of the shows run, Dawn Summers just popped up out of nowhere. Her presence was like a big screaming force yelling "This shows gonna suck now".
Buffy was always saving her ass, and after a while I was hoping Buffy would stake her. Instead the show opted for the same crap over and over.
Funny how the most impatient people are the ones who are new to the site. I've spent a good chunk of my life on this site waiting for this, and I have no problem waiting longer.
I believe art should never be rushed.
Not to be a turd and ask an audio related question, and seeing as it would take a lifetime to read back, will you be fixing the music error when Luke is fixing to be sucked into the tube?
It bothers me more than any error in the film.
