This decade is shaping up to be the worst I've ever seen in regards to music. 100.99% of the music is the shitty pop, rap, R&B, etc., the few "artists" out there that actually can sing can't write shit, and hypersexualized superficial Hollywood bullshit is the core of the shit they do write.

Makes me long for the good ol' days, like the 1990s. REAL artists like the Spice Girls, O-Town, Ace of Bass, Too-Short, Silk, Hanson, Gerardo. THOSE were the days.

Perhaps I'm confused (not by your math). You're mad that most music is part of a genre?

Except for a few songs from the Spice Girls I never listened to any of those bands, so I can't say how bad/good they really were (I didn't like the Spice Girls, though). As for music belonging to genres, no I don't hate that. I hate that most of the music being made in those genres today really suck.

Worst Dialogue from the OT.
Time

"But I was going into Tosche Station to pick up some power converters!"

Now that is the worst line in the OT. Poorest delivery Hamill ever made in the trilogy.

And then there is this little exchange.

"Obi-Wan never told you what happened to your father"

"He told me enough! He told me you killed him".

Not bad dialogue, really, but what's with the emphasis on "you"?

This is so complicated. I prefer the prequels NOT fan-edited, because they're less boring in their original form and qualify as dark comedies (albeit unintentionally).

I wonder if anyone's ever made fan edits of the PT with a laugh track added to the background. It would be morbidly funny to hear some hysterical laughter break out as Anakin gets sliced & diced then caramelized.

Let's see ... having not grown up in the 60s, 70s, and most of the 80s it's hard for me to make an informed decision on the general music of those decades. That being said, I have a fondness for a lot of rock/pop from those eras, and New Wave is so bad it's good (the same with Disco, to a much lesser extent.)

I don't really remember "noticing" music on the radio until 1997. That being said, there were a few bands/singers that I love that came from/hit their stride in the 90s, and I don't remember there being any overwhelming amounts of bad music, so I have a fondness for the 90s.

As for the 2000s ... it seems there were some decent bands/songs out there at first (mostly from the post-grunge genre), but the decade quickly became overrun with shitty pop, rap/hip-hop, R&B, etc. At the end of it there was all that Rihanna/Lady Gaga/Black Eyed Peas shit and nothing more.

I'd say I'm in between resenting them and outright hating them.

If I could watch a recent release of the films or read a current comic/novel without being constantly reminded of their existence, I'd probably write them off as big budget B-movies - not great by any means, but watchable for their entertainment factor. But by having the OT & EU hacked to pieces to accommodate them, without any PT-less alternatives made available, pretty much just poisons the well and makes them intolerable.

Val Kilmer's the worst.

I must respectful disagree - to the EXTREME.

ok, who is your opinion was the worst?

Clowney, err i mean Clooney.

I can respect that choice.  Clooney was indeed terrible.    But I am still curious as to what DuracellEnergizer thinks.

Yep, it's Clooney I find the worst.

His Bruce Wayne was tolerable, but his Batman sucked to infinite depths. I saw none of that gothic darkness or seriousness that I like about Batman in his portrayal at all.

He didn't even want to do it and what was his reward (other than getting the better songs in Jesus Christ Superstar)?

YHWH cut him some slack for his remorse by overlooking his pesky suicide and allowing him Heaven. He and Jesus now spend the days looking down on the goofy humans that continue to harp on him and laugh over how silly they all are.
