I think the Vader vs. Deak painting is the first piece of his work I ever saw. Awesome, awesome work. And the one with the pyramids is downright epic.

Frankly, I tend to think the farther away two takes of the same god are, the less they are "takes" than actual seperate personages.
Added Superman 1-4, the eighth season of The Simpsons, Ghostbusters 1 & 2, and Event Horizon to my collection.
Now, if only I could get copies of the OOT, seasons 1, 3-7, & 9 of The Simpsons, the Evil Dead trilogy, the first five Friday the 13th films, The Changeling (1980), The Machinist, and all the Roger Corman Poe films on DVD, the linchpin of my collection would be in place ...

Videodrome is one of my favorite cult movies, and maybe my favorite by the master Cronenberg.
It's a study on how we've desensitized ourselves to sex and violence in everyday culture/entertainment. Media like television can essentially be used to brainwash and control people. Nearly 30 years after the movie was released we see how predictive it was.
