30 theatres in North America and the rest of the world can go **** themselves. Nothing out of the ordinary there ;-)
Hey, if you don't like it, go to Russia!
Darksaber is such a forgettable novel that I only remember the stuff on Hoth hazily. KJA wrote it, though, so I have no doubt that it's a poor idea executed poorly.
Ah, but you didn't know I was talking about his toes, did you?
When there's no more room left in Hell, dead threads will walk the Earth.

Can you imagine how amazing it would be if Bruce Boxleitner was in Episode VII as a New Republic General? All I would have to know was that he'd been cast and then all my worries about the new Trilogy would be swept away!
Having now seen Babylon 5, I can't help but to agree 100%.
Oh, and on that note ...
I totally want to see Mira Furlan in Episode VIII/IX. She should be cast as a villainess, though, rather than a heroine, just to make her hypothetical character as distinct from Delenn as possible.
While we're at it, cast Patricia Tallman, too.
I think she'd make for a good lady smuggler. Hell, she could be Mara Jade herself!
Looking back, methinks this thread perhaps should have been posted in off-topic so as to incorporate non-SW fanfiction into the discussion.
Bumping for no other reason than to knock those stupid spam threads down and out of sight.

Patience :p
I keep telling you, Patience is a good girl! She would never do something like this!

I'm curious as to how you all feel about the one-armed Wampa organizing an army and recognizing Luke.
That was something from the Callista trilogy, wasn't it?

In terms of which version I prefer......then that is obviously the original version!.....that is why I am here........but until that version hits Blu ray....then the 2011 Blu ray is the best Star Wars(albeit in it's altered form) has looked on home video.
Fair enough. Although I find it a bit odd that, given that you would prefer the original version, that you aren't even curious to see Harmy's version. Most of it uses the blu ray as its base, and even improve on it because of the color palette and soundtrack.
Maybe danny_boy's really this guy:

I think it's about time theremin music made an appearance in a Star Wars film.

Well...you can always keep your fuzzy videotapes to keep you warm.
Fixed. =P
By gum, you'd better!
But Patience was always a pure, wholesome girl.
The wampa who knocked Luke off his tauntaun and the wampa who lunged at him in the cave probably were meant to be one and the same creature, but separating them does resolve the question of why the wampa looks noticeably different between the two scenes.
Also, IMO, the creature on the bottom does look kind of feminine, at least in comparision to the one on the top.
Apparently, this is what a hybrid clone of my three favourite actresses would look like:
Overall, though a bit generic looking, she's not a bad looking lady. I'd have thought she'd have a somewhat lighter hair colour, though.
Case in point:
"I'm FILL IN THE BLANK! The homosexual Luciferians are going to use their pink ray to turn everyone into homosexuals!"
"Bitch, please! We're too busy making crappy music to have any time to do that!"
"LAIR! I know all about your attempts to turn little boys gay through rape and MTV!"
"Didn't you just claim we were using a pink ray to do that?"
"SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP! I CAN SEE THROUGH YOUR FREEMASONRY DECEPTION, MINION OF SATAN!"
"Dude, you're making me look normal."
"If I play a Rob Zombie record backwards, I'll invert its innate black magic into Godly white magic that'll send you straight back to Hell! Just pressure me some more into playing it, Luciferian, JUST PRESSURE ME!"
"Whatever. I've got churches to desecrate. Catch you on the flip side."
MEANWHILE, IN SPACE ...
"Everything is proceeding according to plan, master. By the time the Terrans wise up to the gravity of their situation, it'll be too late to stop the invasion and complete subjugation of Earth!"
"Excellent!"

The GIF thing reminds me of that SUPERSHADOW dude. lol
what happened to good old Supershadow, btw!
His site closed down shortly after Disney bought Lucasfilm. I guess Disney had less tolerance for Supe's shenanigans than Lucas did and pulled the metaphorical carpet out from under him.

Did Supershadow create his own images though?
I remember the Wookieepedia article on SuperShadow used to feature a poorly Photoshopped movie poster they claimed he'd created for his Episode VII, but I never actually saw the image itself of SuperShadow.com.

I don't remember this shot making me feel cold before.
Maybe I just need to put on a sweater.
This isn't the "Oh, won't somebody please think of the children!!!" thread.
Apotheosis through deicide? How cromulent.
