Farewell, Simon. I hardly knew ye.
Back in 2000, I ate peanut butter from a jar that had been opened and sitting in a unrefrigerated cupboard for an extended period of time before that point. As a result, I suffered an allergic reaction that left me with pronounced, itchy hives all over my body. It took several days for the hives to fade away.

And by theatrical, they mean revisionist grading and no mono mixes.
It must be hard going through life this grumpy.
I don't like reality either, but we don't get to live anywhere else.
Or don't we?

I don't think I'm gonna stay long. I mean this place is really dead. It's not really the way I remembered it.
=\
Honestly, the forum isn't anymore alive or dead than it was when you first arrived. It's probably more alive than it was, say, back when I first joined, in 2010.

Frankly, I loathe tattoos, and the idea of getting some -- or getting involved with a woman who has some -- is distasteful to me.
That being said, if I were to get tattoos, I'd have "LUST" tattooed across the knuckles of my left hand with "HATE" tattooed on the knuckles of the right.
Are you single?
Not in the best possible world.
I'm still waiting for a droid named Y2K-2000.
My, she certainly has not aged very well.
Lately, I’ve been experimenting with taking some of the less satisfactory collages I’ve made over the years and altering them digitally to make them look more psychedelic/pop arty.
Here’s some of the more interesting ones I’ve made so far:
And to tie into my last post, here’s another drawing I’ve made of Superman, coloured & uncoloured versions:
I’ve decided to stop colouring these type of drawings with felt pens. Not only does the ink often overwhelm the linework (especially blue ink), but it looks really ugly after its been scanned to the computer. I get far better results with pencil crayon.
LOL
As someone who hasn't been employed since 2008, I can certainly say that going without a job certainly isn't going to help someone facing depression feel anything but worse.
No one who speaks German could be an evil man.
I thought it died around the time this picture was taken:
But all but one* of my nonexistant love affairs have been with fictional characters and actresses ...
*A girl who acted in school plays doesn't count as a real actress, right?

Okay, I think the most important things here is that he is apparently in love with a fictional character and an actress.
You make it sound like it's a bad thing.
Long time no see, Mangler Brother. How was your vacation on the desert island?
Sadly, I'm not a Doctor Who fan. ;-)
I read part of Shadows of Mindor. Frankly, I quickly grew bored with everything that didn't directly involve Luke and ended up skipping through most of it.

ur a big meanie
How can Ur be a big meanie? It's an ancient Sumerian city-state -- an inanimate object with no thoughts or feelings.
Technically, it wasn't killed with fire the first time. =P
Sorry, but I'm deadset against reading any novels set inside the PT era (or NJO or Legacy eras, for that matter). My policy is if a novel can't fit in my personal canon, I'm not going to devote time and effort towards reading it, regardless of how well written it is.
Besides, at this point, I'm pretty much done with reading anything from the old EU, too; once I'm through A. C. Crispin's Han Solo Trilogy and Zahn's last three novels, the only SW books I'll ever read are going to be the ones I've already read and taken a liking to. There's too many classic authors and novels out there waiting to be read, and I've put off reading them for Star Wars long enough.

also, what's the concensus on the EU as a whole here?
do you guys think it was better or worse than the replacement EU?
I like about 40-45% of the old EU, and that's mostly the stuff that was written before TPM's release. I hate the rest of it.
As for the nuEU, I read Heir to the Jedi, the Princess Leia comic miniseries, and the first three issues of the Darth Vader comic -- mediocre wastes of time, all of them. I've had my fill of shitty SW stories from the old EU, and I'm not going to play the battered wife who keeps going back to her abusive husband; I'm officially done with future SW tie-in fiction.
