I really don’t like turkey.

Me neither. Maybe that’s because virtually every turkey I’ve eaten came from the food bank, but still.

typically, turkeys that are donated to food banks are the same as found in supermarkets.

Yes. Also typically, they’re cheap brands. And who knows how long they’ve been sitting in someone else’s freezer before being donated.

It mostly comes from the original film, where the troops wern’t trying to kill our heroes.
"They let us go. It’s the only explanation for the ease of our escape… They’re tracking us."
In ESB the troops are supposed to be having a hard time because of close corridors and R2’s smoke tricks, ect.
In ROTJ… I don’t remember.

ROTJ is where the stormtroopers became truly incompetent.

It’s a stereotype which has been blown far out of proportion. For some, it makes what should be intimidating, formidable armed forces the SW equivalent of the Keystone Cops.

Personally, I can live with it in fan art and the like, but I hate seeing it applied in official works (Rebels, I’m looking squarely at you.).

Just so there’s no confusion, I was saying I like the Superman of the early post-Crisis comics.

He can’t juggle planets, he can’t move faster than the speed of light, and Clark Kent is part of who he is, not some disguise. But above all, he’s fundamentally human – made as good a man as he is by the loving, supporting parents who raised him – not some distant alien loner, with an adoptive dad who tells him it’s alright to let people die if it protects his secret, who’s only good because of his genes.
