What do you mean “should’ve been the first sequel”?
If they were gonna run with a “save the dinosaurs from utter annihilation” plot, it would’ve made more sense to have done so directly after the first film, since the novel ended with the implication that Isla Nublar was slated for nuclear sterilization.
So why are they making what should’ve been the first sequel to Jurassic Park twenty-five years too late and with a wholly wrong cast of characters, tone, and sense of aesthetics?
