Having my favourite character in the entire SW Universe made into an abject failure was a bit much, yet here we are.

Won’t get one from me, since I’ll likely never watch it. Yeah, I know – I said that once upon a time about TFA and I watched it anyway. Curiosity got the best of me. Curiosity’s not a factor this time.
You needn’t worry about me making a long series of complaints about the movie, though; I promised I wouldn’t go into meltdown this time around. Aside from my dumb avatar, I’ll keep my thoughts quite to myself.
I’m sure if it’s well received enough you’ll find a reason not to like it :p
I believe what they’ve done to Luke is reason enough.
I probably won’t bother with the rest of the ST anyway. Whether “probably” evolves into “definitely” will all depend on what happens to Luke in this movie.

I’m not going to say I’ve never been party to misanthropic thoughts, but I think it’s a tad ungenerous to state that out of seven billion humans on the face of the Earth, only twenty of them are decent people – especially when you don’t know most of them.
I’m going to immerse myself in as many spoilers as humanly possible. My final decision regarding this film – whether I see it or not – will be informed by them.
I have no knowledge of Spongebob, so I simply don’t care.
I was clicking through some of those other ones since I don’t know about many, and holy crap the big CG eyes on Alita or whatever look terrifying.
Just gotta love Cameron and his “innovating” use of CGI.

I never said that all Johnny-less portions of the film are unfunny. It’s basically just the long ones between Lisa/Mark & Lisa/Claudette I get bored with after awhile.
I find The Room entertaining when
TommyJohnny’s on-screen, but it quickly becomes tedious when the movie’s focusing on the other characters. The “love scenes” between Lisa and Mark are amusing at first, but by the fourth one, I just start looking at the clock.I agree with you on the love scenes. The DVD is great because you can skip at a press of a button without missing anything.

Many it’s just this role, but Ms. Fanning looks kinda creepy now that she’s an adult.

A Quiet Place is the only one I have any real interest in seeing, perhaps because it looks to be more of a horror than a sci-fi film. Annihilation looks somewhat intriguing, but I don’t have a clue as to what the hell the story’s supposed to be about.
I’m not touching anything with Keanu or the Rock in it, and Fallen Kingdom can go die in a vault fire.

What I like most about TOTJ is that the artists actively tried to make theirs stories look like they took place in the ancient past of the SW Universe. Shame that sensibility was abandoned in KOTOR & TOR.
