I’m currently enjoying the Courtship of Princess Leia.
I don’t know how that’s even possible.

Rosemary’s Baby
I fell asleep watching this, but I know this was supposed to be good. It didn’t really do much for me, but it was truly demented. If it makes you feel any better, I outright dislike this movie.
Not a fan of baby harming I see.
Nor of Mia Farrow or shitty boogeymen Satans.
You’re both wrong.
Good.

I just realized I failed to include Mother! in the list of last movies I’d seen. I guess I should say something about it.
I sympathize with the allegory, but the allegory was eclipsed by the imagery. If I never see Jennifer Lawrence brutally beaten to within an inch of her life — or an innocent baby killed, butchered, and eaten — in a movie ever again, it’ll be too soon.
4 sober Barnies out of 9 (5/10)
Stained clothes are a trademark in my family, so I doubt they have any stain-removing knowledge in their databanks. And my friends are all in my head.
Remember when a 35mm preservation was a ‘crazy proposal’ and we were all busying ourselves with the GOUT and Laserdisc? Such innocent times.
Right?! That was such an absolute pipe dream at best.
I remember reading — not here, but elsewhere — that if someone even attempted having one small section of a print restored, they’d be reported and criminal charges brought on their heads.
I got spaghetti sauce on a good shirt. I put it through the wash twice, and the stains still won’t come out.
ALLOL!
An Apple II, IIRC.
TORI AMOS
Are yams considered a type of potatot?
Looks like the Russian is returning https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrWNl8grkrU
I don’t know who this is
Senator Vreenak gets no recognition. 😦
Though I know it’s an image of ST Luke, I keep seeing Collipso’s avatar as a green-headed robot with three legs.
I assumed it was about the FBI since they’re all Russians.
David Duchovny’s paternal grandfather was Russian … David Duchovny plays Fox Mulder … Fox Mulder’s an FBI agent. . . .
I don’t remember when exactly I first stumbled upon ot.com. 2009? Maybe even as early as 2008? I wanted to join a SW community which didn’t heap undue praise upon the PT/SE/modern EU; I couldn’t authenticate my IMDb account to post on the message boards at the time, and TFN — HAH! — so I started posting here.
It’s impossible to kill my love for the O[D], R1, and some of the classic EU that was a huge part of my childhood and adolescence.
But I
'm starting tofeelthefatiguecreeping inwith al[l] the new stuff. I [don’t care about] TLJ.Heck, I only saw it twice and don’t have the desire to see it again in the theater (something Star Wars hasn’t done to me since AOTC, which I’ve hated from my first viewing!)I liked that (like R1) the imagery in the new Solo trailer reminded me of some of the best 70’s-90’s EU, but otherwise I felt little actual excitement.
I’m totally indifferent about RJ’s announced trilogy.
And now this… hope they’re good, but once again I feel NO anticipation. It’s [now common] to feel this way about new Star Wars movies…
FTFM
I, for one, thought it was about Zombie Lenin.
Needless to say, I’m disappointed by the truth.
There was a third Creepshow movie???
In name only.
You stole my joke.
I prefer to say we independently discovered it.
^Lucky.
It’s so random it doesn’t make a lick of sense.
I approve. I think.
