The 12th Doctor is really reminding me of Pertwee.
My dad has to be on a special diet for his heart and because his kidneys are failing but right now we can't buy the food he needs because the bank is refusing to show the paycheck my mom deposited in her account last Thursday as being their and this is not the first time this has happened. So now we have no food in the house and no money to buy food because the law does not apply to big banks. if a bank decides to steal two weeks pay from you there is nothing you can do about it.
I am sick to death of this corrupt country that is run by the rich. Three days in a row of no food because someone at the bank stole our paychecks and it is not a crime for a bank to steal your money in this country. We need a revolution.
The radio version is my favorite version of Star Wars and he did a good job playing the character and you really felt a bond between him and Luke in that version.
doesn't belong here.
I wish we could just get rid of congress so we could start fixing everything wrong with this armpit of a country.
My PBS station stopped airing it around the time the new series started airing on Sci-Fi. I think that deal tied up the rights to the classic series or something like that because I don't think anyone has aired the classic series in the US since the new series started airing on cable.
Yeah that's the game!
The Vectrex was awesome. It played really smooth and the Star Trek game was cool and had some nifty features like being about to refuel and warp to other sectors of space.
Here are a couple of videos about the Vectrex if you want to see it in action.

Wow,I have never had that happen.
I have had "girls" who don't have a picture on their profile try to friend me but never one from Nigeria. Internet scammers have sunk to a new low.
Yeah I can't for the life of me figure out what raw footage from those episodes would be doing on the same film reel. Still some of the doctor who missing episode finds have been stranger then this so I am very interested. Hopefully whoever gets this film in the end will post it to the net and we will find out what the deal is with it.
Meanwhile I think I have at least three separate copies of TSWHS on DvD for some reason:) I had no idea it was still selling on Ebay,I figured everyone who wanted a copy had downloaded it by now.
Yeah wouldn't you know it we have two old time Tv stations in my area and neither one of them is this one. Still I have most of the DvDs so it isn't that big a deal but it would have been cool to be able to watch DW on TV again now that PBS has dropped it.
what is that song in the apple adds
I just saw two episodes of Batman where he played Mr.Freeze on TV. You know even as a jokey take on the character I like him better then Schwarzenegger.

Did you watch with a 5.1 sound system?
Nope, just a stereo television.
That might explain it. Sometimes a stereo tv or receiver will have difficulty mixing a 5.1 down to 2.0. Not saying that's the case, but it's possible. I'll eventually watch this on a proper 5.1 system so I'll be able to tell then.
Yeah it is the case with my TV,but when i watch something with my 5.1 system i don't have any problems. I talk to people all the time who complain about the sound on modern tv shows and movies and every time I ask them what sound system they are using they say stereo Tv speakers, then when i watch the same thing on my surround sound system I don't have a problem. Sadly the problem seems to have become pretty common.
The only good news on this front really is that a decade ago i paid just under a grand for my surround sound system and now systems of the same quality are down to around $100 so the prices have come way down if you want to get one. It's not a perfect solution but at least the systems are much cheaper then they used to be.
Spotted this on Facebook. I can’t believe people are still falling for these things.

Wow,I am so sorry. How do you go on after something like that? The closest thing I ever had to kids are a brother and sister who are a decade and a half younger then me that I helped raise and I can't imagine loosing them and my pain would have been nowhere close to yours .
I am so sorry for your loss. I am tearing up now.
I pray that you and your family will be okay.
Pardon me for asking but I have seen the term used on this site before and I am wondering, what does GOUT stand for?
Thank you for your time.
Oh robot wars! That was another one! How could I have forgotten about Robot Wars,oh and Red Dwarf how could I have forgotten Red Dwarf! That was just such an awesome night that I forgot a bunch of stuff that aired. Thanks for reminding me!
I really really miss Robot Wars, that was just so much fun to watch. One of my favorite moments was the bit where Sir Kill Alot was holding a robot over the flame pit with his spear. That show was just pure awesome.
I have been working my way through Monk on DvD and I can't believe how many episodes I missed the first time around. I just got done with the garbage strike episode where Monk goes nuts and has a bunch of insane theories including the most awesome murder scene ever aired on TV!
That was just amazing!
Needless to say I am really enjoying this show.
Ah Stronghold, when you want to fire a cow through the air that is the game to play. I love playing against the Rat because it is so much funny watching him go down.
it was the best line up in the history of Tv and I forgot a show, yes that line up was so awesome I couldn't keep track of all the awesome. They also played Yes Minister,so boom! There you have it,the single greatest night in the history of television!!!
Win.
Is there a national eat your kids day?
Who knew this was a thing?
Also it is completely overcast for the first time in weeks where I live so I will not be wearing sunglasses today.

Does it still have the borderline racist characters and sexual and drug based humor that feels out of place in a movie based on a cartoon about giant robots? Also can you tell what is going on in the action scenes? Because those were my problems with the last three movies.
Nope, nope and most of the time.

Oh well you know what I may give this one a shot. the sexual humor(I am not sure if it was even humor since half the time there wasn't even a joke)just felt really out of place to me. It was really bad because when it came out in theaters I took my seven year old brother to see the movie. I figured a movie based on a toy line of giant robots that turned into cars wouldn't have anything worse in it then some buildings being knocked over and robots being shocked well just imagine my feelings as I am sitting right next to my seven year old brother and all of the sudden people will not stop using the word masterbation.
Add to that the borderline racist characters in the other two movies and the fact that a lot of the actions scenes gave me a headache(I am not joking that really happened things were just so blurry and loud I got a headache)and you can see why I didn't enjoy these movies and only watched them for the Rifftrax.
Still it sounds like they have finally gotten those bugs worked out so I will give this movie a shot.
