I'm definitely up for PIF'ing. I connect at 28.8kbps so downloading would taken much, much longer than waiting for the mail. I have a dvd burner as well so trading is not an issue.

And the whole fact that Anakin's portrail of his turn to the dark side consisted of him squinting for 2 hours. LAME.

I thought the way they showed palpatine seduce anakin was done very well but I must agree, when it finally went down it was to sudden of a change. Also, I think haydens performance as evil was the best work he had done in both films, though that's not saying much.

well, the time difference for starters. Over the length of time anyone can change. What if the PT was made first or what if it was made soon after ROTJ was finished, would it have been better?

Although Hayden wasn't the best actor chosen for Anakin could you imagine Lloyd playing Anakin in all 3 films! That is very cringeworthy.

A cringe moment for me in the OT is during ROTJ where Chewie makes the Tarzan sound. I have always hated that part and I was very saddened to hear in ROTS as well.

I have found some programs that will convert it. Three problems though, one is it's gonna take an hour for me to download the program I want to use. Two, other attempts at converting have produced .mov files with a louder hiss to the sound though still usuable, and three, the files are close to 50mbs which will take me a day or two to upload somewhere. If you would like I can do this but I don't know where I could host such a file.

If you could see a series from the EU (expanded universe) brought to the big screen, which series would it be and why. Also, who would you like to see direct it?

I would like to see the Dark Empire story done because it has that SW feel to it. It also brings the Solo kids in which would be neat to see. Sure the emporers spirit transfering himself to clones may sound a little much but I liked it. For a director I would like to spielberg do it. He's been close friends to GL for so long I'm sure he has a great understanding of how the SW movies should work. Plus he is well versed in most genres of movie making so he'd be a well rounded director for the job.

well shit. I thought the converter prog i have converted to .mov but it doesn't. It converts to every other format, .avi, .rm, .wmv, and dvd just not .mov. I'll try and locate a program that'll do it. sorry for building your hopes up.

I noticed a problem with the cover in the last line on the back it say, "and the changes that were mad along the way." I'm sure that's supposed to be, made. Great cover still!

I don't remember yoda saying luke had to defeat vader to become a jedi, he just had to confront. Even vader confirms this when luke surrenders to him on endor.

I've been following the thread as well, I just haven't posted. A dvd version would be preferred by me as well. Of course I would definitely have to have it forwarded due to a shitty internet connection.

I have played enter the matrix and I think there is some really good content there that you might be missing out on. I have seen the matrix box set being sold for $35.00 bucks now so it might be worth checking into. Can't wait to see it, I'm just concerned when you say "rough looking".

I've recently got into the EU and I've been enjoying it. I like how it adds so much to each character and explains things that the movies leave open, especially the PT. I've been reading the NJO and I love that story. Sure, for a SW's movie, it would be too dark and hostile but the story itself is fantastic.

I see your point that the EU doesn't have the same feel as the movies but we all agree that the PT doesn't have the same feel as the OT.
