I believe there is no caravan.

OK

There are people who sneak across the border, yes. Are they dangerous? No.

Actually that’s just false. There are plenty of dangerous people who cross the border illegally, just like there are dangerous people in country legally. Dangerous people and non-dangerous people sneaking through are not mutually exclusive.

Is there one happening right now that the National Guard is specifically going to intercept? No. Does this warrant the mobilization of military troops? No.

Um… You believe wholeheartedly that Trump is an idiot who doesn’t understand his own job and who believes in crackpot conspiracy theories all over the board, but now it’s a stretch that he’s using military action on a situation that doesn’t demand such action. You’re giving him more credit than you claim he deserves.

It’s a stupid idea drummed up by paranoid white nationalists.

I thought that’s exactly what Trump is.

I just don’t understand why this concept is so far fetched. You guys think Trump has no idea what he’s doing in office. Fine. You also believe that the caravan is not dangerous, while Trump obviously does. This leads to the idea that Trump taking action against the caravan validates your belief that he doesn’t know what he’s doing. That’s all I was saying. It’s not like some sort of grand plan that only a genius could come up with. It’s literally sending military forces to stop people from entering the country. That’s not exactly an intricate plan.

That’s probably the smallest, least visible stubble I’ve ever seen. I’m not sure the relative definition of “a lot less” really functions when there’s hardly anything there in the first place. Saying “minus the stubble” would be better because then I’d know what I’m looking for. I was confused because I didn’t even realize he had stubble at first.

Better to have none than to have stubble. Facial hair is kind of an all or nothing thing in my personal opinion which is worse less every day.

What about Indiana Jones?

As we enter our second decade of continuous zero-to-subzero net illegal immigration from Mexico, Trump is celebrating by sending the National Guard to the southern border.

Presumably while there, they can pick up some litter and rescue some cats from trees, as they contemplate their fate as a sentient but equally pointless wall.

Maybe they’re going to stop the massive caravan of people that are currently traveling through Mexico with the intention of entering the US.

Tron: Legacy (2010) - I was trying to figure out why it took me so long to see this movie, and honestly there’s no explanation. Wanted to see it when it came out, never got around to it. Better late than never. Music’s great, visuals tend to be pretty good (though after awhile they verge on monotonous), some cool set pieces. Buuuut characterization across the board is pretty weak here, which I guess wouldn’t have been a problem if they weren’t trying to make everything so dramatic. But they did. B-

I would give it an even lower score just for the “happy ending” where the girl (who is literally a computer program rather than a real person who was sci-fi beamed into digital data) gets to come back to the real world with the protagonist for no reason other than “love interest.” I also didn’t like the movie very much regardless, but I’m not going to fling poo over differences in taste.

This is my senior picture, from January. This isn’t the actual take I sent in, but I didn’t actually preview the different takes before my mom said “this is a good one” and turns out, I like this one better than that one. Gotta love a pimply face covered in relatively sparse yet fuzzy facial hair. Looking back at the picture, it also looks like I had bags under my eyes, just a bit.
