The Beatles were musical geniuses, but I think that the Bee Gees were debatably just as good (I mean real Bee Gees, as in pre-disco). Though, being in a ranking thread, I can’t bring myself to rank the Beatles albums. I’ll just say Abbey Road on top. Can’t decide on anything else.

I guess "very against" was harsh terminology. I’m not someone who goes all preachy at gays and tries to burn them at the steak if they don’t repent of their sins and all that. But, in my christian belief, homosexuality is wrong. I’m not following a rule in saying that I believe being gay is wrong, it’s my personal belief, regardless of being a believer of Christ.

And “you started it” doesn’t make me 13, I was pointing out that this drawn out conversation wouldn’t have been blown out of proportion if you hadn’t pointlessly done so.

I just went back and read the conversation from the beginning, and impscum added no conceit at first. Frink got insulting right away. Then impscum shot back. He still wasn’t nearly as insulting as Frink was here. Add to that the fact that Frink started it.

I don’t know what your getting at. I was saying that your Batmen=Returns argument makes no sense. The film wasn’t called Batmans. I also think the use of “Batmans” is a dead giveaway to what he was referencing, so if you didn’t get it you were being thick in the head.

There is no film related to the batman character titled “Batmans”. There is no film related to the batman character titled “Batman3”. Simple.

“Batmans” and “Batman3” are not real films. Only “Batman” is.

Also, I wasn’t defending any actions on his part other than the joke that the conversation pertained to. He mentioned the Alien films that weren’t included in the original joke, and Frink started jumping down his throat for no apparent reason. And if Frink didn’t get the joke, he a) was being dense, and b) didn’t need to be such a troll just cause he didn’t get one joke.

Your comments on those thread titles were quite unnecessary. Notice how nobody cared until you said something, and then they still didn’t care. Face it, Frink, your just as much of a troll as imperialscum is. And past occurrences really don’t matter in that situation. You not liking his comments on other threads doesn’t mean you need to troll him and everyone else in thread because we were carrying on a funny joke.

My only problem with the X-Files mini-series is the awkward and constant referencing that it’s been 15 years since the show stopped. This is also kind of weird because “I want to believe” didn’t have a lot of this, and it came several years after the show ended too.

EDIT: Thanks for making this thread, I think we need to have at least one off topic conversation that doesn’t have an impscum/Frink argument going on in it.

No, imperialscum has been offering completely unwarranted conceit ever since I can remember. Sometimes it only takes one stupid statement to push people over the edge after years of nonsense.

I don’t care what he’s done in the past/in other threads etc. In this instance, nothing offensive was uttered by anyone but Frink. We laughed at a joke, but Frink couldn’t let impscum be, simply because he doesn’t like him. And yes, he was effectively trolling. Or was being dense, I can’t really tell.
