If the tape's image is fine after you stop, and then play again, it's likely the player is to blame.
What brand is the VCR?
Please try the tape in another player before your tape suffers any lasting damage.

The most awesome gaming system I've ever owned was my recently deceased Dingoo A320.
For those unaware, it was a handheld Chinese system that emulated Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Gameboy, Gameboy Advance, Sega Genesis, and a few others. It also had some native games that had 3D graphics and could play some movie and music files, pick up FM radio, etc. Cheaply made, but awesome nonetheless. There was a community of users that improved on or created new emulators so, after a little research and updating, it ran most games fairly smoothly.
But my 5 year old daughter dropped it while playing "old Mario Kart" and it ceased to function.
So now I'm trying to save up for a Yinlips, which is similar, but can also handle N64 and PS1.
But, can it handle 5 year old girls?

Videogames is one of the things I love to talk about...but not many people I know have the same passion for them.
It's basically the same reason I came here to talk about Star Wars.

I've pretty much been a videogamer ever since I can remember. My dad got an Intellivision, and then me and my brother would play it all the time.
Listing all the systems, the games, and the other stuff I have would take a loooooong time to type out, but it's safe to say I have a lot of it.
And, just to be clear, I'm not a 'Retro Gamer' really. I'm more of a 'Classic Gamer', because all of this isn't "new to me".
