A new low in Star Wars games

Remember
Star Wars: Demolition.
It was a  rip-off  of Vigilante 8.

V8 was an awesome game, for its time. I still have it lying around somewhere with my PS1. What system(s) was Demolition on?

That was also on the Playstation.

Back on topic...

The girls dancing in Jabba's Palace was pretty sweet.

But, Han and Lando dancing in the Carbonite chamber was a bit odd, to say the least.

I vote for raw, and the tape flip over gap at actual length.  ie you have to wait through the tape flipping portion.  No to patching with the soundtrack from another source, but can fill this tape flip void or other missing segments with something phun.  And please leave in the over-recorded segment, curious what was so important or a complete accident.

I agree with this

+1.  You could fill the gap with sound effects of a cassette tape being ejected, flipped over and restarted, even.

......."Turn Tape Over"......

Star Wars Ultimate Obsession Collection what George Lucas needs to do.
Time

The Star Wars "Ultimate Obsession" Collection

What George Lucas needs to do:

It would look like a large desktop computer tower. It would have a multi-terabyte hard drive, that contained every version of every Star Wars movie and TV show ever produced, and would have every film clip and sound sample ever filmed/recorded.

It would have built-in video, and audio editing software...something like After Effects...and maybe CGI software.

So anyone can make their own cut of any of the Star Wars movies.

You could then save your cut, and upload a small file (like a play list) to the "Death Store"...A Lucasfilm form of 'Cloud'.

Then anyone with a 'Star Wars "Ultimate Obsession" Collection' subscription could download it.

There. I think that makes a bit more sense (such as it is).

WTF?

It's a cruel trick some parents do, when they are uncomfortable talking to their kids about storks.

But.....where do baby storks come from?

A capital G.

Emphasis mine.

still don't get the joke.

He's suggesting that your non-use of a capital 'G' in your sentence was somehow amusing, and would like to point out that his correction can also be used as an answer to the question you posed.

How odd, it still loads for me, I will try uploading a version without sound, hopefully that will slip through undetected.

Since it's your account, you can still watch it, but no one else can.

And, it's probably the video that got it blocked, not the audio.

Here is the longer trailer I have been working on.  As I said a lot of the choices reflect my personal choices more than they reflect the votes, but I just wanted to practise with After Effects and this seemed as good a way as any.

The shots aren't all finished, but I just wanted to get something together to try and get a bit more discussion going here again.  Let me know what you think.

And It's already blocked... :(

It was likely blocked before it was even done uploading.

It's all Fox's fault....they're jealous....they're holding us back!

Oh no, Lucas got to him before he could finish posting!

Or, maybe he wanted to make posts like Negative1, but hit the 'Post Reply' button instead of pushing the Enter key...?

Undecided. The audio at the end of Terminator might work pretty well, both for the crushing and the yelling.

I can see where a crunch sound might be too gruesome. Having Padme yell or simply say "ouch!" might be enough.

Natalie does say "You're breaking my heart" in Episode III. Does she say "hand" anywhere in the prequels or some other film?

You don't really need 'hand'....

Ani: (grabs her hand) Mechanical sounds, and a little crunching...

Padme: "Owwww.....Ani....You'r breaking my...."

Ani: (lets go of her hand) "...Sorry?"

Hay I was wondering if any one here knew an easy way to change the windows 7 startup sound.

Back on windows XP and every thing before it my computer would startup with Darth Vader saying

“What is thy bidding, my master?"

But on windows 7 they made it almost impossible to do this and if you do not know what your doing it is

Impossible.

...the models were drowned out by the CGI. One example is actually one of my favorite fx shots - in the AOTC Geonosis battle - when the camera tracks that missle all the way to that AT-ST and blows it up.  I don't know if there is an animated GIF of it, but you guys know what im referring to.  That was a model - but everything around it was cg...

I think you mean AT-TE .

I would like to know if the bonus features are going to be the same old stuff, or will we be seeing something new. Come on MGM, tell us exactly how many of the 130 hours is new content!

You'll only get the extras disc in the box set....including 90 minutes of parodies.

BUT, you won't get the classic documentary "From 'No' to 'Solice': The Making of A Saga".
