HAPPY LIFE DAY.

HAPPY LIFE DAY.
WYSHS
I had a quick thought after downloading this from MySpleen, Did anybody even try to make a fan-edit of the SWHS?
‘Diary of a Wookiee Housewife’ is up on the spleen mate.
I am not brave enough to watch it - I’m not even brave enough to read the blurb/description about it 😉
It’s a decent edit, but some subtitles for the Wookiees are a bit vulgar and inappropriate.
But is it canon?
I made this profile pic before I realized that Frink only got a temp ban…
Can you post a cutlist from v1.2 to v1.8?
If these guys aren’t all being sucked out into space, then a similar emergency field around a small door isn’t a stretch.
Seriously people, we’re nitpicking movies where you can hear sounds in space.
They can have shields that allow for open air on the exterior of the Death Star. Its’ that way when the Falcon lands in the first movie too. But in general I agree with your point, the scientific stuff doesn’t need to be nitpicked as long as its not obvious and really dumb. For instance, the asteroids in the asteroid field would never be that close together in real life. And when the Millenium Falcon flips and spins like it does when it turns around on Bespin, all of the occupants would be thrown around and probably incapacitated if not killed.
Presumably the Falcon’s artificial gravity prevents this. Just like Luke and Han can sit in the gun turrets without seatbelts even though they are facing out the top and bottom of the ship.
Were they? I thought they were both facing forward, but one was at the top and the other at the bottom.
Yes. I wrote a much lengthier post about it some time ago, but the windows you look out in the Gun turrets are flush on the top and bottom of the Falcon. So top gunner is on his back and the bottom gunner is on his belly, relative to the Falcon. ANH is really the only film that actually gets the turrets operation (based on their actual physical design) correct. TFA and TLJ take some major liberties with the physics of how the turrets could really move. Also, even back in the original EU they had the idea that the armored disc the turret window is mounted in could rotate (which is made cannon in TFA) but in reality this would mean the ladder tube you climb up or down into the turrets would not be correctly lined up anymore.
Okay, so I know this is really nerdy, but can you explain where the bunk bed in TFA/TLJ came from? IN ANH that entire area is a kind of messy black wall (you can see it when the Stormtroopers board the Falcon).
In ESB, you see Luke on the same bed.
(Basing from memory of course)
No spoilers here but, TLJ is a movie you have to watch 2 times to truly get immersed into it.
- Restructure the opening fight sequence to eliminate the explosives falling onto the dreadnought. There is no gravity in space.
THIS
TL;DR but basing from the title, it might have been compared to the likes of Rick and Morty. (Derailed topic; going back)
Since good ol’ George replaced Shaw with Hayden, it might be plausible that force ghosts can change their apperances and limbs.
No. No. That’s not true! That’s impossible!
If you were been hit on the head and forgot everything about the SE, plus confined in a room wherein there are numerous pre-1997 laserdisc copies of the OUT, then I’d say its possible.
Since good ol’ George replaced Shaw with Hayden, it might be plausible that force ghosts can change their apperances and limbs.
EDIT: I don’t think adding a thunk cuts it. You can’t see anything when Luke disappears other than his cloak, and that sound makes it more out of place.
A little nice tidbit I found while browsing online is that Rian Johnson missed a detail to Luke’s death during the filming of TLJ. When Luke “became one with the force”, his robotic hand would “clunk” to the ground, and apparently he missed that. So when Luke comes back as a force ghost, he might have one hand missing. Just a little thing I wan’t to share.

Well, I’d drop my 0.02 in about the jokes and what to cut and what not cut.
-For starters, I would like to cut the “can you hear me?” joke, it removes the tension from the first act, and does not give the audience time to change emotions when Paige dies.
-The Luke and Rey antics at Ach-To, I personally do not like Luke throwing the saber, it kind of makes Luke more of a dick, and it also breaks the tension. But if that was meant to break it, then they executed it horribly. From memory, if you cut that joke out, then it leaves a bit of a continuity error where Rey suddenly picks up the lightsaber from a different place.
-Some jokes that I like during the Luke/Rey scenes were the “Jakku is pretty much nowhere” joke and the “I can feel it” joke. The first one shows Luke’s naiveness and that it reminds us that he is still the same guy who whines about going to Tosche Station. The second joke is also of similar note.
-The BB8 antics are too reminiscent of the Prequels and the Droids cartoon, and also gets annoying at times.
-During the battle between Hologram Luke vs Kylo Ren at Crait, he brushes himself off in a sarcastic way after bombarded by AT-M6’s. And I think it does not need to omitted since it shows his cockiness and again, reminds us of the same Luke Skywalker in the OT.
Well, thats it.
Well, sad to say that I don’t have that expertise to recolor frame-by-frame using too much reference material.
Anyway, here’s another photo. It’s just Mark and Carrie doing publicity for ESB in 1979. I just recolored this in 30 minutes, wow!
Quick review: Bottomline “Too many (attempted) deaths” Finn attempts to kill himself by going commando to the lazer, General Holdo goes lightspeed on the Star Destroyer, Leia goes Superman, Paige does suicide on the bomber, Snoke dead looks like Jar Jar on a plate, Luke goes out Yoda-style, Rose gets injured, etc.
Another thing that seemed useless to the plot was the codebreaker thing, and also the very end where that kid goes Harry Potter on a broomstick, felt unecessary and was only there to add easter eggs to die hard fans. Overall 9/10 bottomline. Just a quickie after getting out of the theater, also might make a more detailed review after I get a camrip of that movie.
Though I tripped over a rock and only stumbled 3 feet down the Spoiler Canyon, I will still rise up and see the film till I reach the end of that deep, treacharous canyon.
As long as I have access to black and white photos!
Huh.
REVISED EDITION
I got spoiled by scrolling down my Twitter Feed. I just finished my 3-day exam that totally blocked the Dec. 13 (I live in the Philippines) release date. and This dude just popped up into my DM’s and asks about why -REDACTED- is -REDACTED- and so on and so forth. I hope that certain spoiler is very minor, though for you guys who have seen the film, it rhymes with Willy Wonka has a double decker bed. In case that the mods want that rhyme taken down, then that’s fine by me.
I made this in about 3 hours. Never knew re-colorizing old photos would be insanely hard given little to no references, and more. (If you dont believe me, reverse google image it.)
So, this is going to be 4k97? If so, Williarob would have his work cut out for him.

A stupid question to ask, are you going to scan this in 1080p? Or in 2k?
