STAR WARS: The Torrents thread
Time
First off...thanks to RiK (and word to the spookies) for The Phantom Edit 1.2 and all of the other cool goodies in the surprise torrent.

Now then, I've downloaded a LOT of Star Wars torrents from myspleen (55 or so gigs down vs. 25 or so gigs up) and it's time for me to really give back. I will keep sharing the ISOMIX trilogy, the TR47 trilogy, and the extras DVD all on unlimited upload. I've been greedy with my downloads since I joined myspleen last month...time for me to share so the other fans can get all of the wonderful Star Wars stuff that I've downloaded.

Star Wars DVD Covers
Time
I bought the "Look" second version off of ebay about 3 years ago and they were horrible! The picture was way too soft and the colors looked very washed out. The sound would desynch in parts of ESB and it was entirely desynched on RoTJ. I recently discovered this scene a bit more than a month back...so the discs that I bought for way too much off of ebay have been thrown in the trash.

The TR47 and the ISOMIX trilogy are my favs now. The quality of the discs are outstanding and I love listening to the soundtrack on the ISOMIX set.

My advice is don't bother at all with ebay. You can get everything you need at myspleen and alt.binaries.starwars on usenet. Bravo to everyone that's making this scene as great as it is!

Star Wars DVD Covers

As I get each version of the trilogy I'll be modifying the covers to my liking and I'll go ahead and post them here. Right now I'm downloading a LD to DVD 1997 se version of epIV, the REIVAX digital tape to DVD 1997 se version of epIV, dr. gonzo's pre-se LD to DVD trilogy, and the TR47 version of the trilogy. As I get each I'll modify and post my take on the covers and labels. Thanks for the feedback!

Hey gang...

Phibes over at MySpleen.com just gave me a tip to post a link over here.

First off, respect goes to Rikter Blacksun for supplying the star wars dvd cover collection torrent. I have a modified set of covers and labels ready for Dr. Gonzo's "Making Of A Trilogy" dvd #1 and #2. Both the dvd cover inserts and the dvd labels are posted there. Both high-quality .jpg and 600dpi .psd (photoshop) files are available at:

MOAT Edits

p.s. I've been a die-hard fan since I was 7 back in '77...I might be new to the OT preservation scene, but this is just GREAT!!!!

Star Wars - The Edits and DVDr releases thread
Time
errr...Lemme clarify my last post. I meant to state that I am very interested in the re-editted Prequel films and the uneditted OT films, I realized that I wasn't very specific in my first post when I re-read it. Anyways...once again let me thank you for all of your hard work...especially Magnoliafan and Rikter (and no, that's not brown-nosing...just giving credits where credit is due). I'll be away for the next week or so on vacation but when I do get back look for me seeding torrent files, asking questions, and giving feedback.
