Absolutly. As C3PX states you are in the best crowd to take you forwards with this. Listen to their advice very closely because this is how you learn here.
Oh god yeah, that gets me thinking, im trying to remember the name of the guy who was trying to do the edit of King Kong who wanted to replace the natives of the 1933 King Kong over Peter Jacksons edition, or even use stand-ins to recreate the parts because they looked so bad in Peter Jacksons edition. I wonder if it ever bared fruit in the end??

But NO!!!!!!! 15 months away? I know perfection takes time but you gonna still be here to share this with us by then? Because three days ago you were emplying that you were leaving here and i'd hate to never get the chance to see this edit, or i'll be- "SAD"

But PLEASE do not drop these ideas when you make this:

- Amani removed in all of its scenes, repalced by Muuns and Nemodians(you didn't think a greedy Nemodian would miss out on Jabba's little cartel?)
- After Sarlacc burps, Boba Fett is shot out of it

Also dont get to pre-ocupied with the Hayden stand-in at the end of ROTJ at the expence of these as i would love to see prequel charecters in the OOT in Jabbas lair, and i love Boba Fett FAR to much to see him go out the way that he did in Jedi

Yes i take Star Wars seriously, in the same way some members take Star Wars casually. Some, or possibly most will gladly pay to feed from the scraps Lucasfilm offers. Its just that some members here on the boards put a hell of a lot of time into preserving 20 to 30 year old scrapps (be it adverts/behind the scenes footage from the OOT/documentries shown 20 odd years ago and so on from LD/VHS/BetaMax) upto the levels we can view, or expect to view today, that were released by Lucasfilm back in the day. They take tame away from loved ones (children/wives) and even financial sacrifices, working with limited resorces to bring them to us, because they genuinly love Star Wars and all that it stands for. Lucas only need take these people to move forward (or at least like minded people), yet he takes on the business muppets who dont perticularly care about Star Wars only the cash cow that Star Wars stands for, to fleece us of a few dollars here, or a few pounds there. This clip, and the prequels are the result. And no one will shout for these in 30 years time from now, and Lucas will probably be out of the picture by then anyhow.

.........now thats funny. Though I did 'actually' laugh at the other prequel clip posted here the other day from adult swim (pee-per-papa-palpatine still sticks in my head). However, a 900 hundred year old CGI dancing puppet(sorry to break it to you Andy how they did it) surrounded by fake-arsed looking CGI clone/stormtroopers bopping along to a bad jam, epitomizes everything that was wrong with the prequels to begin with.
If just because i just sighed as opposed to erm, laugh, or smirk, or whatever they expect the viewer to do (perhaps dance along?) that makes me someone with NSOH then so be it.

Im glad at least someone here is optimistic, because this is starting to feel hopeless

All i've had is 24 views of my request, with one reply stating 'i remember seeing all these years ago. there is a Star Wars one and a Return of the Jedi one as well. wonder why they've never been released officially?', which suggests he's mistaking this for SPFX to me.

This is the pinnacle of the mockery that ILM and George made of the Star Wars name. To think, some jokers at ILM actually got paid to make that! And the fact that Lucasfilm thought that it would be a great addition on a DVD!
George needs to stop playing around with his silly computers and spend his time digging around in the vaults for something we really want to see!

If the players had abandoned the game then i'd have said yes. I could see their dismay with a dubious decision for their disallowed goal, then getting hit with the sucker punch with the way Man Utd scored the winning goal after, but the ground wasn't a stage for champions league football to start with.

As the farce with the crowd problem, that could have turned into another Hillsborough disaster and that needs really looking into. Why were there fences there to begin with? And why the heavy handed tactics with the launching of tear gas into the crowd at the first sign of a disturbance, which contained men, women and children that were getting crushed with influx of supporters coming into such a small section of the ground?

Lille are an up and coming team that should not be made an example of, and after they get torn apart at Old Trafford, they can learn a lot of lessons from that one match alone.

The sarlaac had 2 drafts which took about half a day to get it right. The text took me around a week on and off to do the 3.

After thinking about it, i had a look around and recalled that they came from TF.n. Theres a thread covering how great japanise covers look compaired with american artwork. Theres not much left of it now but you can look at http://boards.theforce.net/literature/b10003/11299496/p1.

Cant recall where from exactly, they originally were japanise book covers i think, and they had japanise text on them (there was other covers in the same style but they had images from the expanded universe on them, therefore i've never done anything else with them). I removed the text by cloning it out which was a major pain in the arse as the text was so big. I also cloned out the beak on the sarlac to make them OT rather than SE. Those were like my first covers here. Glad to help out.
