Most of my pokemon vanished from my cartridge (I had all 151, including one at each stage of evolution) Dunno why the vanished though, maybe they left cause I hadnt played it since like 98 But my core team is still there as well as my Mew.

If I remember correctly, you could actually *find* Mew on Yellow.

I didn't find it, but I had a pal that had a mew and we did the old pokemon duplicating trick on our GBCs so we both had Mew on our cart.

I had a blue cart back in the day, I had a lot of high-level ones, mainly from the unlimited item trick pulled on rare candy.

Yes, I had connections with people who had Game Genies, I ended up with Mew, and a bunch of ridiculously high-level pokemon.

no, me and my brother had the blue and red, those were the first cartridges to be released states side. While we did use the duplicating trick to replicate a pokemon or two (might have only did that with mew cause I think we only brought one cartridge to TRU) we did get all of them cause we captured the cartridge exclusive and traded with each other. I think you could also use a trick to duplicate the master ball, but really the only real need for that was to catch Mewto cause he would escape from any other ball 100% of the time.

we didnt use the game genie to get mew because TRU had a special deal or something and was 'giving' him out i think part of their pokemon saturday morninings or something (they had some pokemon promotion)

I think my brother got a few of the other versions but I dont know about the mew thing...all I know is i got Mew from TRU and I think i replicated a couple pokemon so that i could get charizard, squirtle, and pikachu in each of thier stages of evolution.

after i beat the game i truely went for the 'got to catch em all' and tried to get one of each pokemon. so I would get ones that evolved and have one that was at each stage of evolution.

not trying to off topic the thread (or add to the derailing going on) but, I also have a copy of Superman 1 & 2 on vhs that was recorded back in the day. Unfortunatly they are both on the same tape so LP or EP was probably used, but I figured I'd take a look at them when i was going through a box of recorded vhs' my parents have.

and at this time, in american society (I know some countries feel differently, but its lowest common denominator here) female breasts are considered a private part and its proper to cover them up. That this may be 'stupid' or 'not logical' or maybe you just dont agree with it is not the point.

As far as your comment in the "Things we hate thread" about the general sw forum being PG and not the off topic how do you figure? If some 10 year old can access the General Star Wars forum they can access any section. So if you have a PG rating its for the whole forum not just various sections. It would be like saying, well the first scene of ROTS is rated G, the rest of the movie is PG, except the scenes where people get killed, those are PG-13, oh, and the scene where Anakin kills the Younglings is R because he's slaughtering children.

give me a break. If Jay decides its suitable and leaves it/includes it in the new software Ill be fine with that. But personally I agree with Warbler that it should be removed. And that people should try and cut back on the cursing/swearing as this is a PG board and even if it wasnt, is there really a need for that kind of talk? It only makes us (as members of this site particularly, and Star Wars fans as a whole) look immature/bad.

MagnoliaFan Edits: Ep I "Balance Of The Force", and Ep II "The Clone War" (Released)

Dont know if there are pal versions, also dont think MagFan really distributes these himself...but if you contact Rikter he can probably give you full info on the format and obtaining a set.

Like your name, dont know if it was your intention but my first thought was Reservoir Dogs meets Star Wars

Dont think ive seen it (this it?)

I was never really big in the horror type stuff actually, though I watch more of it now than I used to, but its still not one of my fav genre's
Which is why i didnt really read much Stephen King, but after I read the books I mentioned I got more into the thriller thing, and really enjoyed the stories (except the one i couldnt get into) so wanted to read more. Then there are the movies based on his work that I enjoy so I want to read the books, mainly because the differences between the movie and book of the Running Man and the change in the story.

yeah, they should have used her for the part in that Sci-Fi mini-series/sequal...though the girl they used was pretty good looking if my memory serves me correctly...but i think im starting to veer off topic.

Which of his book would you most recommend? As i've said i have read The Long Walk, The Running Man, and Rage and want to read Green Mile, Firestarter, and The Dead Zone. Are those books better than their movie adapations (i kind of expect they would be) but would be your suggestions for someone that wants to start reading his books?

I havent read many of his books but the ones i did i enjoyed, and i actually would like to read some of his other work (mainly 'The Dead Zone' and 'The Green Mile' as I thought both of the movies from them were good/interesting)

the books i read were

The Running Man
Rage
The Long Walk

they were all contained in a 4 book volume that also included 'Roadwork' which I wasnt able to get into when I read it...Maybe Ill try again though.

I think out of those 'The Long Walk' was my favorite. I also enjoyed 'The Running Man' it was much different (better) then the movie.

The Indiana Jones Project (Released)
Time
Indy 3, just a thought, if people have stuff to contribute to this i think it would be best if they sent it to you more directly, and then you compliled it. If you up it to myspleen or some other site then everyone will get the 'first version' and the 'all in one' dvd version will be somewhat redundant. And i think most people would prefer the final product, so why make all the individual parts available to everyone. I say just make the final product available.

But, i would def be interested in seeing this. And as baby hum said, his bh002 release has some pretty interesting stuff on Temple of Doom

you can always post on internet forums...you can probably get a good 20 posts in if you try hard, actually that would probably be a low number for you

Gundrosens SW covers(1-6+classic+bonus)
Time
yeah, ive seen them, scanavo http://www.scanavo.com/ actually makes some real nice multi disc cases. I like the 'overlap' design. they dont seem to sell through their site though.. but you can find some of thier cases on various sites (froogle search scanavo 4 disc overlap, or something like that for where to buy)

you can actually get 6 disc cases that are the size of a standard case (well at least they appear to be in the picture and description, i havent gotten any of them) someone here a while back ordered some of the 4 disc ones in the design im talking about and said they were only slightly bigger than a regular case.
