My personal Canon consists of all the major Expanded Universe works published between 1991 and 2014, with a few exceptions. I leave out The Clone Wars (2008), The Force Unleashed II, the Dark Empire Trilogy, and everything that comes after the New Jedi Order.
I also don’t include the trilogies and novel series written by Kevin J. Anderson, like the Jedi Academy Trilogy, Junior Jedi Knights, and Young Jedi Knights. The reason is simple: they’re all tied to Dark Empire, and I reject that storyline completely. I just don’t like the idea of Palpatine coming back from the dead, because I think the Chosen One prophecy should be respected. Anakin’s sacrifice and Palpatine’s defeat in Return of the Jedi should be the definitive end of the Jedi/Sith war, so I don’t want the Sith constantly coming back. Which is also why I ignore all the post-NJO books.
Basically, my Canon consists of the Expanded Universe in its classic form, and while my timeline continues past Return of the Jedi all the way through the New Jedi Order, it excludes the parts that try to undo what I think should be the final resolution of the Jedi/Sith war.
