Wasn't that Spielberg?
Yes. But ILM did do the effects, so Lucas is indirectly responsible I guess...

On a similar note, one of my favorite sounds in the OT was actually Vader's "Arrrgh!!" when he is knocked off the edge of the Carbon Freezing Chamber. As you may or may not know, this was changed in the Special Edition (possibly a product of alternate audio tracks). So instead of that awesome snarl, we get the same lame sound Vader makes when Luke sends a plume of Tibanna gas (or whatever lol) at him. Anyone else agree this was a bad change?

Give me Luke vs. Vader anyday over Yoda vs. Dooku (it was cool and all but it was so short and pretty pointless)
In Jedi we go to Jabba's Palace and the Sarlacc pit on Tatooine, Death Star II, Endor. Clones had Coruscant, which I don't even like (I dont know about you), Kamino, which was so boring, and Geonosis/Tatooine, which are your standard desert planets.
The Speeder Bike chase was soooo much better than the Coruscant one. AOTC's was boring and was loaded with the worst dialogue ever. So lame...
AOTC had scary villains. Vader and the Emperor are so much better than Dooku/Tyranus. He wasn't even threatening except in one scene. And Sidious is onscreen for 20 seconds.
Ewoks = better than Geonosians, Kaminoans (or whatever), and all other digital creatures...
Come on, AOTC better than ROTJ? In what alternate quantum reality does this happen??

Lucas is taking marketing lessons from Eisner.
But will he suffer the same fate as Eisner? I bet after Episode III he retires to lake Como and we never hear anything from him again.

Anyway, it's a park I'm working on for RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 called SW: Galactic Adventures. There's a lot more work left to be done at this point, but there are plenty of cool rides right now. I post screens regularly here:
RCTTown
Now everything at the beginning of the process looks horrible. Now it looks slightly less horrible (I'm no RCT Picasso). I tried to keep the SE stuff out (meaning my version of the Sarlacc has no beak thing and so forth). However, there are prequel coasters. There's sweet stuff like a Snowspeeders coaster that actually goes around AT-ATs to simulate the scene from the film to a certain degree. Tell me what you think...
