Lots of syllables in there.

Hahaha :) Well sometimes that can be a good thing, and it can also be a rather annoying thing. I did get an 'A' in English Literature and Language, but sometimes I can be too lazy to observe what I've written or typed :)

I'm writing a novel btw; it's something along the lines of Fight Club or American Psycho (with Transgressional characters) - but totally different at the same time. :D

I'm making an animated feature with talking animals..... Only it will be live action and no animals will actually be present.

I kid, I kid.

I'd actually be very interested in your book. How long have you been plugging away at it?

You should do stand-up my man :)

Anyway I started it 2 years ago when I was 17; and I still have a long way to go. I've done over 200 pages now and about 160 pages consist of completed chapters and I still have plotlines that need to be added in and finalised. It doesn't have a title as of yet and has actually evolved into something that I'd call short-stories (as seperate chapters) merged into one overall story. It's a morality tale as well as a transgressional novel - a nice dichotomy.

I really want to see it finished one day.

Sorry guys. Had to post this thing I came up with (lol). Kind of twisted, huh?

ANAKIN (V.O.): I....hate....sand.....

YODA and MACE are meditating in the COUNCIL CHAMBER.

YODA: Hates sand young Skywalker does. Hmmmm.

MACE: I say we should put him in the younglings' sandpit and see how well that pu**y copes with it. We'll do it for a laugh right?

YODA: Be careful we must. And feel I do, that the younglings be removed from the sandpit.

MACE: Er why?

YODA: Sense something perverted in young Skywalker I do.

MACE: Oh. Well I say we should castrate the fu**er. I also say we should have a council meeting on this.

YODA: Agree I do, but young Skywalker, castrated in the sequel he shall be.

MACE: I can't wait that long.

YODA: Only three years it is.

MACE: F*ck that.

Dude, The Passion made me puke. Firstly because it was considered entertainment at all, and secondly because I knew a LOT of children were being taken to see it. America is fucked up culturally: Janet Jackson's nipple leads to lawsuits and fears for the children, but Jim Caviezel getting the snot beaten out of him, VERY graphically, for two hours, is family fare?

Something has gone dreadfully wrong somewhere...

Ill tell you what it is: Christ has become an commercialized industry giant right up there with Elvis.

The Americanized Christ is almost no different 'cept the 'burns.

I just remembered this:

Which thread, this?:  http://originaltrilogy.com/forum/topic.cfm/THE-STAR-WARS-REVISITED-SAGA-S-CUSTOM-DVD-COVER-THREAD/topic/10878/

Jay put this up recently in the topic announcements, concerning artwork and covers etc. -  http://originaltrilogy.com/forum/topic.cfm/New-forum-category-for-artwork/topic/10859/

Ah cool - I suppose we could use both of them. Check out my updated cover on both (that I did up today) :D

I can't seem to get it to be smaller when I resize and post it - it always ends up the same size - can anyone help me out?

Resize it on your computer and upload the resized new pic again ;)

-Angel

Well I was thinking of doing that if there wasn't a way to resize it another way online - but thanks all the same :)

Love the teaser pic Angel.

EDIT: This is what my final cover will look like (I may add Han under Vader's cape - and Vader's cape looks kinda fake atm btw)

THE STAR WARS REVISITED SAGA'S CUSTOM BLU-RAY/DVD COVER THREAD
Time

We all love Adywan’s A New Hope: Revisited and have helped out with creative ideas in some way or another. This is a thread which will contain fanmade covers for all the revisited edits (from you guys) and the main idea is to make the covers as creative as possible. I am going to create a cover that emulates the look of the official DVD covers for both TESB:R and ANH:R (which is way overdue, but will add to the range of covers in the end - oh and I’m also gonna do one for ROTJ:R too). I know that these particular covers don’t sound too creative but I’m only doing those for people who actually love the covers that are on the official DVDs (since the artwork on those DVDs deserve something as equally cool as Ady’s edits and not those incomplete DVDs that came out in 2004). To compensate for re-doing the official-style covers I am also going to make some unique covers for the edits, so you’ll have to wait until 2010 for those (though I may reveal a little bit in the Christmas holiday).

So get your creative hats on people and make some custom DVD covers 😃

In the end I’m gonna stick to the covers that Adywan issues - his cover for the first edit was magnificent - but I’m also going to print off everyone’s covers (like I did with ANH:R) and keep them near my DVD collection. 😄

Here’s my official-style TESB:R cover so far - it’s a work-in-progress and has glaring errors in it that won’t be in the final cover.

It took several years of badgering Ms. Olie for a date, but I finally got her to say the same thing to her friends.

Hehehe :D

And what does she say whenever you point out the obvious?

To learn the answer to that question, you'll have to marry me.  Get in line...

I'm already queing outside Scarlett Johansson's place :D

Thanks for all the feedback guys, and I don't mind any criticism btw since it is a work-in-progress after all. I'm gonna have a new Luke pose, make Vader the correct size, try to fit Han and Leia in somewhere and find a good Yoda to edit in. The revisited will replace the 'widescreen' bar at the top of the cover and I'll fix the saber too (or sabers, since I need to correct the bottom pic too). I'm also gonna change the purple 'steam' into red  :)

I'm gonna also make my own unique TESB:R DVD cover btw and that's gonna be a surprise for next year :D

There is certainly zero glamour in the Rebellion... (not counting Leia of course)

I find mon mothma in PT more sweet and gentle rather ROTJ's one with the non blink eyes.

Maybe we can go with the  idea of putting wookies instead :)

-Angel

I want more Wookiees other than Chewie! Even some with the taskforce that lands on Endor - it would make perfect sense. :D

very good now for comments: luke and vaders sabers look weird, yodas face is kinda strange near the bottom, the "revisited" should be shifted over to the left a little bit so the "the empire strikes back" is in between the end of the "R" and the end of the "D" and it looks a bit blurred, vader look kinda looks stretched and the end of Luke's saber is pointy/blocky.

Thanks for the feedback. I need to work on the Luke and Vader duel image at the bottom of the cover and make the sabers the right colours and thickness (blue/red and thinner). I've decided to put the 'Revisited' where the 'Widescreen' thing is btw, so I'll change that and keep the title like it is on the official DVDs. Now that you've pointed it out, Vader does look a little stretched - so I'll change that. And I'll smooth out Luke's saber at the end.

TV's Frink said:

Without speaking to the specifics of the cover (I'm horrible at judging that kind of stuff), I have to ask: Do we really want to be reminded of the Official DVDs?

I think that the covers themselves are awesome and I'm sure a lot of people will agree with me. Ok, the official DVDs themselves weren't 100% brilliant with colour correction and various other things, but the artwork of the DVD covers deserves something as brilliant as Ady's stuff - besides it's something for people who actually liked the official DVD covers, so it adds to the choice of covers in the end - though I'm actually looking forward to what Ady does with his own official cover, since the one he did for A New Hope was amazing :)

rcb said:

yea, the light sabers also look weird to me also. is luke's saber purple?

It'll be fixed :) Yeah the one at the bottom looks purpleish, lol - it will be blue and thinner when it's all complete.

I've been working on a cover for TESB:R  (I'm also gonna make a new ANH:R cover as well) - here's the TESB one so far:

It's obviously based on the official style DVD covers and also a couple of fanmade one's out there. What do you guys think of it - any suggestions on how to improve it?

EDIT: I tried making it small, but it won't let me post it small for some reason - so sorry if it's taking up space.

Imagine the slogan, ''Keeps my eyes lookin fresh and young so i can carry on pointing out the obvious with youth!''

What?  This is an outrage?  Did you get approval to use my image?  Or my name?  I'm gonna take you to the cleaners.

Nah, I'm just kiddin' ya.  Any publicity is good publicity, and that picture just reinforces what a Handsome Devil from Naboo I am.  Just make sure to send me some free samples.

It should have 'The entire inside is filled with cream' somewhere on the box.  :D

Nah, we're good.  Just don't steal my girl like that punk Anakin did.  And voting me Handsomest Devil from Naboo wouldn't hurt any.

:O Padmé was a little bit young for you dontcha think? Uh oh...I can feel a clever reply coming my way. :D

Lol, nice stuff - The 'Handsomest Devil from Naboo®' awards really go to those who have great intellect as well as being handsome. Good to see you already won in 32BBY (sorry about the EU timeline - hope it doesn't offend you, or others for that matter) and I may vote for your ghost too next year, since some kid name Gregory Typho won this years already. Hehehe. Lol my humour is awful :D
