Just finished off the Berzerker Lord in Metroid Prime 3. Pretty fun so far, though I'm not too fond of the controls. Not because they're bad, but just because it's so different than anything I've played before. (I never played Red Steel or any of the other Wii shooters, so the closest simulation I've had to this type of gameplay is Link's bow in Twlight Princess.)

...That's entirely random and entirely fortunate. Mario Kart DS is the best in the series so far.

Alright, I have now officially returned from my adventures at the end of the earth. My friend got his PS3 and gave me his old PS2. I have been out of the whole gaming thing for several years, this is my first console since my old N64, and I am really enjoying it. I have been playing Shadow of the Colossus and God of War. RE4 will probably be my next purchase. I actually thought about buying a Wii, but I am really enjoying getting games out of the bargain bin for my PS2, I already have ten game for the thing and I have only spent fifty some dollars. I think I will wait until games start getting cheaper before I buy a Wii.

RE 4 is definitely worth it. The Wii version is the best of both worlds cause it has the graphics of the Gamecube version and the extra content of the PS2 version, but I definitely understnad that money is a concern. Some other PS2 recs:

Rachet and Clank Series
Final Fantasy X and XII
Sly Cooper Series
Rockstar's Bully
Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution
Grand Theft Auto 3/Vice City/San Andreas
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Warrior Within, and Two Thrones*
Devil May Cry (its sequels aren't as good)

*The PS2 versions of these, as with most multiplatform games, have the weakest graphics, but if you don't have a Gamecube or X-Box, they're still great games.

Eh, she was good in the parent trap, but in all her other movies, I think she just tries way to hard. I just cringe watching her try to be convincing on screen. I was babysitting some kids down the block the other night, and they were watching the movie Freaky Friday, which is a perfect example of Lohan trying too hard. In those types of roles ("average" teenager) she obviously has no idea what she's doing, because she has no life experiance in being an average teenager. They should do a movie where she plays a constantly drunk whore who is addicted to Cocain and checks into rehab just to get people off her back, sneaking coke and alcohol in the place. I bet she could nail that role.

....I thought I was cynical...

^What kev said.

When I was 10 I watched that movie pretty much constantly. I'm not sure why you say she's a bad actress, Darth Evil. (Her recent efforts notwithstanding, probably largely due to the whole drinking and possibly cocaine problem.)

Either way, I'm really sick of seing this crap in the news. It's bad enough that it happens, but the fact that news people harp on it probably encourages that sort of behavior more than it discourages it.

Well, legally I'd say Lucasfilm had a case. FanEdits aren't meant to be distributed to those who don't own a copy of the original film, but there's no way to enforce that.

It's still a massively jerktastic thing to do, though. These are fans, mostly of the honest variety, mostly who already own all six movies on DVD (and probably American Graffiti and THX as well) and want to express their fandom by improving on the flaws they see in Lucas' films. Shooting down fandom is bad for business, is it not?

Lord knows I've given DC Comics about a million dollars since I got into their universe through fanfiction.

1. I don't believe so; I believe it's the parent's responsiblity to take care of their own children, not the responsiblity of the American taxpayer. I think there should be options for such emergencies, that charities should be expanded to help with such things, certainly. But not the tax payers themselves.

2. I don't think there's a legal grounds to deny such things unless marriage is a requirement for adoption.

3. Probably. Bill Clinton's a liar, not a moron.

4. I fail to see how this is a political issue, but no, I don't think it should be prohibited. Babies have gotta eat too.

5. No opinion on this issue.

6. I despise sitcoms.

I'm not lordjedi, but just for the record.

1. Only in emergencies.

2. Ann Coulter is a bit crazy, but that's no excuse to use epithets like that.

3. I think Rush harps on some trivial things sometimes, but he's usually right.

4. Moderately conservative; certainly the most conservative since Reagan.

5. I'm beginning to think so, at least when it comes to immigration. I'd say he's of average intelligence in a job that really requires a lot more than that.

5. Yes

6. Chuck Norris

7. No

8. The "God Hates Fags" people should be publicly excecuted.

Well that Flash:FMA mostly sucked can you really blamed them? DC screwed up big time with the character of Bart Allen, making him the Flash and stealing any semblence of his old personality. Why they killed him instead of de-aging him is anyone's guess.
