I remember in the original spending a long span of time trying to complete certian tasks in order to gain just four hidden characters. I remeber some of those guys being pretty hard to unlock. Especially Ness. With this one the hardest one to get will be Mewtwo looks like, since I need to play either 700 games in VS. or 20 hours of VS. I really don't have too many friends that play games where I live now, and the ones that do are not really Nintendo people. And on top of that I only have one controller. I'll just have to let multiplayer play an hour here and an hour there, I don't really like the idea of leaving it on overnight, use to do it with my old systems all the time, but I am kind of weary about doing it on a CD based system. They just seem kind of delecate to me.

With the X-Box or 360 that would probably kill it, but I think the GC would be safe. It was by far the most durable system of last gen.

I can imagine it being a challenge to play SNES and N64 games on. Perhaps I am not yet use to it and my opionion will change over time, but for now I would even hazard to say that it is one of the worst console controller designs to come out of the last few generations of console gaming (other than possibly the tiny pithy original PS1 controller before the analogue revision).

Funny, I feel the opposite. I mean, it's not as good as the Dual Shock, but the Gamecube controller is overall very comfortable. The C-Stick is kind of awkward at first, but the main stick is the best in the business. I like it a lot better than the X-Box or X360 controller, at least.

Pretty hard, but I only gave it a couple of tries, I had been playing for a while when I got to him and was getting tired. Man, that is a really good game. Really brings me back to the good old days when graphics were crap (but we didn't know that at the time) and game play was the point of focus. GOW is really easy to get into from the very first level and keep you hooked. Not overly hard, not overly easy. I am looking forward to playing the second one when it comes down in price.

...Did you just say that God of War's graphics were crap?

Windows Vista

I don't use it except at school, where all the computers were upgraded from 2000 to Vista over the summer.

The fact that my initial experience with the program was on a LapTop made me really hate Vista at first, and now that I'm using it on a computer that's actually vaguely capable of running it... Well, my opinion isn't that much better. It still looks like a Mac Rip-off visually, and even though it's faster than it was on the laptop, it's way slower than it should be. Some of the computers at my college computer lab, I can type in my login and password, and then go to the restroom and still get back before it has my desktop loaded.
