In the article from HTF I posted above it says this:

"Mr. Lowry explained that the restoration of all three of the original Star Wars films began with the negatives from the 1997 Special Editions. The original negatives were in extremely poor condition."

I couldnt agree with you more HotRod, I was praying that they would show all the episodes as a movie. Also Samurai Jack is another essential reason to watch Toonami.

Another thing to watch is all 20 episodes of Clone Wars edited into a film. Its on toonami in the UK in a week or so.

Yeah I like the look of that 4 disk cover.

And just a note to anyone in the UK:

If your gonna get the Official DVDs but you prefer the Gold Box then you can get it only at HMV.

But I prefer the Silver Box.

Hopefully they cut out all the good bits to get the pg rating so they could make loads of money at the cinemas. Then theyll release a R rated Directors cut on dvd.

Ive got some precise PAL runtimes of the dvds from the bbfc site:

ANH: 119m 35s

ESB: 122m 6s

ROTJ: 129m 13s

Anyone know of any non SW re edits of movies that are better than the originals?

The new footage in Reloaded is apparently gonna be from the enter the matrix game. I hope they edit out that crap dance sequence, keep the morpheus speech but after that cut it all.

Also I dont know how many transformers fans there are here but, I watched the movie recently and someone should edit the soundtrack, the music spoils the Optimus vs Megatron fight, its annoying. But maybe thats part of the charm of TF.

I use this program called Cover XP, you pick the case your using then load the image and the program resizes it for you, then your ready to print.
