TV's Frink's List of OT.com Members Who Have Made Jokes at the Expense of TV's Mom (and the Level of Sexual Innuendo Used, Based on the Stoplight System)
Time

I don't understand the point of this thread. Then again, I don't understand the point of "yo mama" jokes in general. (For the most part) their sole purpose is to insult people. I don't think insulting people is wise...when there isn't any good reason to do so (which I may unfortunately be guilty of, but even then I hope I never went too far).

Frink, what do you have against your mother that people make crude jokes around her?

You inadvertently distorted the image in a way that looking at it gives me a headache! Couldn't you have taken it in a way where the lines at the top aligned with the screen properly?

What, and conform to Euclidean geometry?

You, sir, are a square.

...or a triangle...or a circle...but not an octagon.

 That color balance...AHHHHHHHHHH!

You inadvertently distorted the image in a way that looking at it gives me a headache! Couldn't you have taken it in a way where the colars truly resembles those of the original trilogy, rather than the orange and blue prequels?

So weren't there supposed to be only 9 Doctors or something? Have we passed that number?

The limit was thirteen. The War Doctor and the Meta-Crisis Doctor, though not "numbered", counted in this thirteen. The number was surpassed when the Time Lords gave Eleven a new regeneration cycle. Technically, Twelve is number fourteen, but whatever.

Disney ... might perceive SJA and the K9 series as requiring background knowledge of Whovian lore to jump into.

SJA should be watchable standalone, with the possible exception of "Death of the Doctor" (considered by some to be hardcore continuity porn, partially because of the appearance of Jo Grant.). As for K9, it shouldn't require knowledge of Whovian lore at all thanks to the whole "We only have the rights to use the K9 character so lets wipe his memory at the very beginning" thing.

Do you mean classic who or nu who? If you mean nuwho then Netflix (as of this writing) is only missing series 8. Classic Who, however, is like you say, a grabbag. However, even Hulu doesn't have every classic who episode, and I'm not even referring to missing episodes here, I am saying that some intact classic serials are not available on hulu.

So, series 2-4 reruns are airing on Disney XD in the US.....why?

I mean, no offense to Disney, but wouldn't Sarah Jane Adventures (Which only aired its first series on Syfy) or K-9 (which only aired as a one day marathon of every episode on Syfy) be better choices for a kids network? I'm not saying that Doctor Who isn't kid-friendly, but..i don't know. It just doesn't seem right for some reason.

Also, the episode selection seems a bit strange. Why skip Nine? Why skip The Christmas Invasion? Why skip the Tenth Doctor Specials?

Feel free to discuss this development. I gotta go to bed.

Suggestions for the New Forum
Time

How about User Fragging? All of originaltrilogy.com becomes an MMOFPS running a html5 port of some variant of the Cube engine (Cube, Assault Cube, Cube 2, Red Eclipse, Platinum Arts Sandbox, Tesseract etc...)...

On a serious note, I agree with pretty much every suggestion Frink posted.

The advanced text editor the site currently has is strange. It doesn't like mobile browsers, it REALLY doesn't like my Wii (I have to go to basic mode just to type anything) , it's difficult to put quotes in quotes...it's just...bleh. I like how the picture option allows you to resize the image to an exact resolution without physically resizing the image though. Even that can be improved by having an "automatically change value to fit aspect ratio if you change other value" option.

I was directed to read your post Warb.

As someone with more than my fair share of personal plumbing problems your father has my sympathy.

UTIs can be painful and embarrassing, not to mention alarming if you don't expect them. The antibiotics should work fast.

I hope he gets well soon.

Not to diminish what you are saying, and no offense to Warbler, but are you sure that you posted in the right thread?

I've been playing the Donkey Kong Country series for SNES lately.  The first two are nearly perfect.  The first two sucks major donkey ass.  It's like it took the very few things that were annoying/didn't work about the first two and decided to base the entire game around them.  I hated it.

I'm confused. First you say that the first two are "nearly perfect", then you say they "sucks (sic) major donkey @**" Then you say that the first two take the worst parts of the first two and make entire games about them.

Congratulations Possessed, you managed to break reality and cause this to happen.

Forgive me if I am wrong, but I am guessing that the since your video is called 94 vs 95, the THX version is the Faces?

The most obvious difference is that the pre thx has french titles, while the thx has english ones. If the ladder is a french release, how was it handled? Voiceover for the titles and crawl? Subtitles?

The THX print seems to be a little clearer (naturally) and you could see the starfield better. However, C-3P0 seems to look more gold in the pre thx version. I don't even know what color he is in the THX. My first guess (which I am sure is wrong) is "lemon".

I could be wrong, but the scene where the star destroyer tractors the Tantive IV in seems smoother in the pre thx version.

Those are my two cents. Both have flaws, but both have things the other lack that make them better.
