Vive la Résistance! Join the League of Bunnies.
Time

Citizens of originaltrilogy.com, I come in peace for those who still understand! The virus known as team_negative1 has grown strong. It's presence has gone unchecked...for a time. Now the virus has mutated into a stronger, more dangerous form: Team_Ender. It's aims are a mockery of the laws of the land. The assimilation must be stopped! Us survivors should band together in order to find a cure to this scourge. Here are the rules you must follow if you want to join!

1. There will be no leagueofbunnies account, or anything similar: Though we are a group, we are also individuals. We should speak with our own accounts while they are our own.

2. You should follow the rules set out by the admins: Team_Ender is dedicated to rebelling against the rules. The only rules they follow our their own. Be careful! We don't want any survivors banned.

3. Your individuality is what makes you a survivor: Always remember that. Your voice is your own. You may disagree with me on other issues, but we are all struggling together. We can't discard our freedom.

4. The hive mind of Team_Ender is not immortal: Like anything, it will die, and freedom will rise again in originaltrilogy.com. Unfortunately, the League of Bunnies isn't immortal either, so you have to be on your guard at all times.

5. Try not to turn every discussion into fodder for war: For the most part, we are a defensive organization. We should only attack Team_Ender if they attack first.

6. This war began in Off-Topic: It wouldn't be surprising if all of this was forgotten in a couple hours, days, or even weeks.

7. The Borg were defeated: If one of the most famous hive minds was defeated by Voyager, surely we can also defeat Team_Ender, and perhaps liberate members of that group from the hive mind.

Be bold, be strong. The war has only begun. Make your choice while it is still a choice to make!

Maybe there is some way to combine them. But why? The Bluray already has the most detail overall.

Maybe someone can run the Diff tool on the current ones to check.

Team Negative1

I think he means something like using the 2011/2004 until there's a change, then using 35mm. Essentially a top-quality Despecialized.

No Wazzles. I literally meant combine them like team_negative1 suggested.

Idea: 'Man of Steel' - color fix (lots of info)
Time

I do admit that the monitor needs calibrating. Unfortunately, my main computer is a laptop (I'm using it's own screen), and I usually use Linux, with Xfce. That makes calibrating the monitor more difficult.

On the same laptop, I did notice a difference between the Blu-ray and and regraded empires strikes back. The skin tones in the regraded look more sick green for some reason. Should I blame the laptop or my eyes xD

4K restoration on Star Wars

edit: Also http://www.digitalfaq.com/guides/video/capture-playback-hardware.htm

In hindsight I find it amusing that the topic is supposed to be about the reliance 4k transfer of the star wars films, and now we're talking about the restoration of something with a lot less resolution.

I have a question, if you were to compare the 35 mm preservation to the 2011 bluray how would you rank it in terms of detail on a scale from 0-100 (the bluray being 100)?

If the bluray is 100, and nothing is allowed to go above that 100, then your scale is invalid. As much as it seems to offend you, the 2011 bluray is not and will never be the end-all and be-all of a detailed star wars image.

...congradulations, you're using my childhood to insult me (I used to ride a so-called short bus when I was a child, and since I have already established that Magic School Bus was my favorite show at that age...)

Insult you? No. Belittle you? Mock you? Deride you? Abuse you? Disgrace, scorn, disrespect, shame, deprecate, taunt, snub, slam, disparage, decry, put down, scoff at, tear down, take down a peg, or take a shot at you? Yes.

...are you joking? Regardless of whether you are or not, is that a reference to something?

Before I say anything, I'll mention that I am aware of how much rope I am given outside of off-topic, and truly I am appreciative of it.

Get back on the short bus buddy ..... you're holding up the field trip to the Zoo.

;)

Jetro, are you the cueball or the carrottop?

NO BILL COSBY He's DEAD TO ME.

You're lucky that there's an alternate short bus for you to ride, then:
