Info: Back to the Future - without DNR & EE
Time

That was hard to read.

Note that some of what I am about to say might be accidentally inaccurate because of this forums inability to look at previous posts or topics, but when I first came to originaltrilogy.com, I was immature and wanted everything now, at one point being in TV's Frink's thread for archiving funny moments. Here comes the possibly inaccurate part: I think I called myself some variation of superdan. It was meant to be a reference to the super nintendo, but I never made that clear and people thought I was full of myself or something. I asked an admin to change my name to something slightly less silly and unintentionally prideful (a name which I have used variations of on other sites) and left for a few years. When I came back, I was more mature.

Now I'm not saying you are a bad person, but a certain level of maturity is needed on the internet (usually...). I went to another forum at age 12 (using a completely different username) without revealing I was an autistic child, and my crazy demands involving summarizing a console wars thread with hundreds, if not thousands of pages (at one point I made a thread about auctioning the summarization or something) caused people who didn't know me to make creepy comments. I'm not saying that you have to reveal your lifestory, like I recently did, but you should at least try to better yourself.

...now that I got that out of the way, lets talk more about Back to the Future.

Harmy's STAR WARS Despecialized Edition HD - V2.7 - MKV (Released)
Time

For me it would probably be the fourth time i bought the trilogy if such a thing occurred, 1. being the 2004 fullscreen dvds (I was very young at the time, and while i did notice the changes between the rented 1995 fullscreen vhs tapes, I didn't care at the time. All that mattered was that I owned the star wars trilogy. Though for a couple years I thought the 1997 and 2004 SE were the same, with the Jabba shot at the trailer being a prototype or something.) , 2. being the 2006 widescreen dvds (which I got recently), and 3. being the 2011 blu-rays (mainly for the OT deleted scenes)

All the SW Trilogy scans done by poita, team -1 and mikev are using multiple sources. There are three versions of the theatrical on the spleen as it is - LD, TB and Z. Adywan's "reconstruction" didn't correct the scene above, but if you like it's the 4th on there. It's easily possible to reconstruct the theatrical cut using just the Jap LD and the HDTV - taking scenes from each and arrange them into the correct order. My final cut will use the DVD and the TB as well - the TB proved very valuable in correcting the chroma in particular.

I think you should look at the DVD deleted scenes as well for the extended podrace intro, as it has Watto saying "Sepulba!", which was removed from the dvd/hdtv and blu-ray cuts.

Thread Idea: "Suicide Mouse: The Pasta, The Different Recreations (organized by 'generations'), And What Does Any Of This Have To Do With Originaltrilogy.com?"

Since I have no idea what this means, I'm gonna say no.

Here's context for why I want that thread made, from the General Star Wars Random Thoughts thread:

If that bothers you, don't even think of watching this

Good grief. That horrifying video..........barely follows the original story as stated in the creepypasta. It may be creepier in some ways, but if you want something more faithful, try this. If you want to see the first half of the "real" short, go here.

At least that paper has more to do with Star Wars than Suicide Mouse does :P

WRONG!

As TV Tropes would say, that image Crosses The Line Twice! It's disturbing, but funny at the same time.....

.....that image is Suicide Mouse In Name Only though, having as much to do with the creepypasta as this. In the pasta itself and in most recreations, Mickey doesn't even kill himself, the title coming from what the psychological effect of the video in the story does to people. The exception is the video you linked, and even then it is debatable whether Mickey killed himself or he collapsed and died due to the demonic figure in the end.

.....it's 2:45 AM. Why am I still awake?

Unofficially Official LD-Decode thread
Time

It had to be made eventually ;)

https://github.com/happycube/ld-decode

Perhaps I should set up a FAQ?

1. How does it work?

2. Which would look better, a standard X0 analog to digital transfer or ld-decode using a lower end laserdisc player?

3. Which would look better, a standard X0 analog to digital transfer or ld-decode using an X0?

4. I noticed that there is a vhs-decode option in the works. How complete is it?

That's like saying guns made boxing obsolete though. ;)

um...no. Not even close. Both Horses and Cars have to go through a circuit for a few laps, each horse/car trying to get in front of the other. If horse racing was an apple, than car racing is a higher quality apple of a different variety. Guns and boxing are like an apple and a cucumber. A Sea Cucumber to be exact.

Mind you, sea cucumber bites can be pretty nasty...

We apologize for the fault in the subtitles. Those responsible have been sacked.
