Okay, I just have to get this off my chest!!!!
Time
It's amazing the utter lack of wisdom found in many of the posters and the posts on this board.

Luke, Jimbo's opinions are his own, be they right or wrong. While you might disagree or agree with what he says, you personally know what YOU believe and think. There is no reason to bash him for his views, despite how contradictory they might be to yours.

Jimbo, this is not the proper time or place to "gay bash" or anything. Until you can form decent arguments and present your viewpoints validly, you have no reason to just start spewing. You may have valid arguments and opinions...but please, use discretion and tact when it comes to sharing them.

This "feud" probably won't end anytime soon. But please, both of you, for the sake of everyone else on the board, even such newbies as me and Joe_H, try to keep it to a dull roar...or better yet, email each other seperately.

Andromeda
Time
I got started watching this show after seeing Keith Hamilton Cobb at a convention and being just blown away by the man, both his personality and the stuff about the show he talked about. Went home that same day and watched one of the season finales and just loved it.

So tell me, does anyone else like this show (despite this weird last season)?

Oh yeah, and Laura Bertram is on my top 10 list of hot women (of which, natch, Eliza Dushku is #1).

1995 VHS

The funniest thing...people complain about not having the originals on DVD...yet you can find the originals for like 10 bucks at any used cd/movie/game store you go to! I could have like 10 copies right now if i wanted...

I was just at HalfPriceBooks and saw the ORIGINAL original VHS copies for 2 bucks a piece!! In better condition than most SE's I've seen too...

Speaking of which...you know I could go get those and ship them to you.

Since I guess it's primarily a British program, I'm surprised by the popularity it has. And frankly I don't know much about it...so I guess I don't "get it". Does anyone here watch it? Is it interesting, or kinda Britishly weird?

Oh yeah, and I'd like to give a shout-out (lol) to you all cause Sliders is FINALLY coming to DVD!!

a Star Trek thread...
Time
Since Star Trek needs a kick in the pants, what they should do is go back and redo all the originals. They have the footage, the stories, etc. Why not go back, take the actors and reinsert them into a more modern looking digital Enterprise? The "Classics" have been released on dvd already...why shouldn't they go back and redo them...heh, a Star Trek Special Edition!

Seriously, a new episode a week...people would watch them. Same actors, but looking more modern with state of the art effects!
