I could tell you that you haven't contributed any good discussions in this section and to go back to the Fan Edit section, but I'm not going to, because I'm not an asshole.

Well, perhaps I have not contributed any good discussions in this section because once a good discussion starts, it gets derailed almost as soon as it starts, with pictures, gifs, and everything a certain member likes to include in each post.

Off-Topic does not (or rather should not) equate to complete ridiculousness. I dont believe, and I could be wrong here, that the mods/owners had all non-stop picture flooding which has been leaked over into the SW and FE threads in mind when they started the forum. For example, please see this thread about 6 posts down

I didn't say that.  CMG definitely called me a troll but that's nothing new.  C3PX sort of called me a troll but no big deal.  Ferris did not call me a troll but said I was getting close.  That's all.

Anyway, back to farting?

If you look back, I did not say those words......but just by your responses and how every thread and just about every post contains a picture....Id say that you bring it on yourself and you know this and love it. So if this is the case, then why get offended when someone calls you out on it?

Also, just as a side note, because I am relatively interested in the response.....what exactly have you contributed to this site and/or community? I mean this as projects or edits or anything as such. I dont wonder too much into the SW threads because it gets alittle depressing, so Im not sure you have contributed anything other than fart jokes, gifs, and 4chan stuff there.

If you have completed a project and/or edit, please link the thread, as I would like to read about something serious you have wrote/done. If not, then not much else needs to be said I guess

Same Old Shit

Ok, well it's pretty obvious what your choices are:

1) Put me on ignore
2) Don't read my threads
3) Both

In other words, deal with it.

Ignore still allows me to see your icon on every thread in Off Topic

Dont get sad that I called you out on the obvious, and what other people are also thinking.
You asked, I told

Edit: See above post

This thread in it's original form is a bit stinky.

The mods here are the most balanced and considered I've encountered on a discussion forum before and only ban people who really break the rules to the point where the site and it's original function are in jeopardy.

We enjoy a degree of freedom on here that other forums don't and yet it never really gets bogged down with trollish behaviour because of the levity and good sense of the people that use it.

+1 on everything...

But the underlined......there has been an outbreak of such behavior, I try not to partake too much in it (admittedly I do get sucked in sometimes) , but TVF starts alot of SOS threads, and it does get repetitive

Yes, the DTS track did sound much better than the Dolby mix in theatres in '97. But this could well have been dependant on the theatres set up i suppose. Although i saw ANH up and done the country in '97 as i was travelling at the time of its release with work. I saw it in DTS about 6 times and Dolby about 10 (not much to do at night in a strange town). I'd say that the 2 UCI cinemas i watched it at had the worse sound, but they always have had in my local one, so there was no surprise there. But i can remember being blown away by most of the DTS showings more than the Dolby ones. There just seemed to be so much more to it. It's hard to explain really. I really wish i could get hold of a copy of the original DTS track

I just want to point out, that even if a theatre is DTS ready and has the equipment and provided materials (DTS disc), does not mean they play the movie in DTS.

Lots of times the projectionist is lazy and will kick back the print to the sound track on the film and and let it be picked up by the SDDS reader, and just skip the DTS reader altogether.....notable to mention that film jumps happend alot when going thru DTS and when I was in the biz we almost never used it (probably our setup)

AVC video decoding problem
Time

Well if you have had the computer for 2 years, it might be time to update your codec pack and uninstall the old one

As for CoreAVC, you can google it to find it and then in MPC-HC you can choose the decoder in the options

But its still a good thing to install a new updated pack to rule that out first, then go from there, hope this helps alittle
