would it be possible to make instantly downloading an image optional?
Time

as in, we’d only see a link to the image, and for us to actually see it we’d have to click on “expand” or on the link, or something.

of course i wouldn’t want this to be the standard, but for someone who can only log in using their phone and wants to save cellular data, it’d be quite the useful tool. so i think that having it as an option would be nice.

much like when you disable “media preview” on twitter for mobile.

is it unreasonable to consider the post-Lucas era of Star Wars fan fiction?

Depends on your definition. If it was, a lot of modern media would be too. So much so as to render the label pointless.

what in modern media would be considered fan fiction? i mean, if a guy bought the rights to lotr and decided he’s the new tolkien and wrote a sequel to the book, i’m not sure if i’d consider it “official canon”. i know i don’t consider the 8th harry potter canon, for example.

I’d be here for a long time if I was listing everything. Even a lot of SW media made while Lucas was in charge would qualify.

Also, Harry Potter 8?

The Cursed Child, the play. it was released as the eighth harry potter story, iirc.

But wasn’t that co-written by Rowling?

was it? i thought that it had been approved by her, but not co-written or anything like that.

By that reasoning, are Superman comics by anyone other than Siegel/Shuster fanfic? Or post-Roddenberry Trek?

i know nothing of star trek (i don’t know anything about comics either), but yeah, i guess you’re right when talking about comic books and comic book characters. but then again, these superheroes (or other characters) have several ‘canons’ from what i understand, so… i don’t know, i think i’d only consider certain stories by certain authors to be ‘canon’ when talking about comics.

Harmy's RETURN OF THE JEDI Despecialized Edition HD (AVCHD DVD9 & NTSC DVD5 available!!! SEE FIRST POST!!!)

Yep. In fact, IIRC Jedi is the only one of the OT for which the community already has scans of every frame (4K77 still has some missing frames filled in with 97SE and Blu-Ray frames), and it’s in significantly better condition than the SW and ESB prints that have been scanned (though the new ESB print Poita has acquired is in fantastic condition as well).

i believe the print that TN1 will use for 4k83 is in excellent conditions, for example.

i don’t think ren is a title, i think it’s just a new name he came up with.

The implication I got was that all of the Knights of Ren held that same title. But I don’t believe it’s been confirmed either way yet.

the implication i got was that the knights of ren were kylo’s knights. like, it’d be the same of there were the knights of vader. they’d be vader’s knights. something like that.

I’d say that she still isn’t convinced to fight for the Rebellion in the Hologram scene. She is actually more interested in finding and rescuing her father. It is only after his death (strangely, at the hands of the Rebellion) that she decides to get the plans. I don’t think she ever really aligns with the Rebellion, more accurate to say that they both have the same objective in the end.

pretty much this. she seemed very antagonistic towards the rebellion during her time in yavin. she was always a lone fighter - but in the scenes where she discovered the truth about her father, she stopped fighting for herself and started fighting for somethng bigger, even if still as a lone wolf. at no point during the film she’s a rebel (as in a member of the rebellion) imo.

I haven’t seen it, but from what I understand, the problem with 13 Reasons Why is mostly due to the way it shows a character using suicide to get back at people who wronged her, which IMO sends a dangerous message to people who are victims of bullying and abuse that are contemplating suicide themselves.

i’ve seen it, and yeah that’s basically it. season 2 is a cash grab though
