Honestly quite dissapointed all the changes weren’t complete but I’m really pleased with what everyone managed todo/put into this edit either way, this really shows how much the community can put into a edit when working together. Hope one day for a version 2 to appear with a Coruscant planetary backdrop, Rey’s cracked saber and the Vader’s castle shot.

Honestly I would be willing to try and take up the task if I could figure out what effect or plug-in he used for the saber effect. I would probably have to start from scratch and just find a similar effect.

I’ve been learning After Effects and I might be willing to take a stab at adding Coruscant to the briefing scene. I’ll let you know if it pans out.

Not sure how I feel about new Knight of Ren lines on Exegol, feels like the most out of place change yet. But I can live with it, the line on Kajimmi worked though.

For TROS there is no way around the spirit transfer ritual. It’s an integral part of the plot, so discussion of its removal is moot.
Except you could easily make it so that sucking the lifeforce of the dyad was Palpatine’s plan all along, allowing you to remove any mention of soul transfer.
Would it be worth adding Palpatines transmission from Fortnite? That would make a good intro
We’ve discussed it extensively by now, but seeing as it’s the last film in the Saga, maybe we could break tradition the way I did with the end credits being quiet. Basically, open the film with Palpatine’s message interrupting the crawl. Wait no, that doesn’t sound good. Maybe what could work is instead of panning down to a ship or planet, the camera stays still on the starfield as Palpatine’s message begins playing. Queue a montage of the First Order, Resistance, and various planets listening to it.
But in all honesty, unless you wanna use it as a way to cut the opening lightspeed skipping scene, you might as well just do like Hal and throw into the briefing scene.

Palpatine can actually use red force lightning, I didn’t just randomly suggest it for the sake of referencing Mortis. We just haven’t seen him use it in live action yet.
When have we seen him use it? Is this from the legends/old EU that said force lightning came from squeezing random fruits?
No idea what is and isn’t canon anymore, When I do personnel cut of film will likely have red force lightning but would mainly just be ascendant with a few added things, still don’t get why people are adding trailer music over Rey v Kylo DS fight seems very out of place.
I guess the first question it makes me ask is “why is this the first time the colour has changed?”
Palpatine has always been all the Sith, based on how things were presented and how Return of the Jedi was recontextualised.
Any time something changes it’s nature or look, there needs to be a reason why. If Palpatine is being restored, that would take him back to where he was in prior films. If it makes him different from that, it’s a question as to why.
Saying “it’s a new colour, that means new power!”… well, exactly. That new power isn’t explained, and we already have a lot of new powers and power levels that have gone unexplained. If you were gonna go back and recolour all the lightning in AOTC, ROTS, & ROTJ to match, then I’d be on board. But just in this one film seems silly.

In canon and legends, red force lightning is It’s most powerful state and we’re supposed to believe Palpatine is his most powerful and we already know this is an ability he can use but weirdly he doesn’t use it when he’s supposed to be at his strongest.
Would you send me Qui-Gon saying, “Bring balance to the Force”? That might be nice to include at any rate.

Some fan edits have added that scene back into the movie, but Hal’s didn’t, so Cinefy’s idea was supposed to be another way of incorporating a third lesson into the trilogy.
