LOL! :-)
Homer hates spies.

I like Mark Hamill. He always comes across as a really nice laidback guy, except for when he plays the Joker.
Fixed?
LOL! Fixed indeed! :-D
Arnie.d said: Well, I started reading the thread from the wrong side then. Thanks for the answer :)
You are welcome. As far as I know, the reasons for an mkv of ANH not being released have only recently been discussed, so I am not surprised you did not realize.
Arnie.d said:
Hello Adywan,
Did you ever release the higher bitrate .mkv file of star wars? I can only find Empire.
The answer is on the previous page, but it is no unfortunately.
If you worry about what people might think, you will never release anything. You have taken the trouble to make it, so release it. If people do not like it, then just edit for yourself in future. No one will blame you for having tried, and if even one person enjoys it, it will still have been worth it.

Extrapolating that to Blu-ray is like claiming Henry Ford invented the Tesla Roadster.
...or that Nikola Tesla invented the Ford Mustang!
I miss the Commodore 64.

xhonzi said: You make me sick, Chewtobacca.
Ice cream makes me sick.
Thank you for sharing that with us though, xhonzi.
FanFiltration said: Some other well made (non Star Wars) stuff by fans and amateurs that is worth taking a look at, are the fan trailer "Grayson" and the student film series on youtube "Italian Spiderman".
Thanks, FF! I am not a Spiderman fan, but I shall look into "Grayson".
xhonzi said: Before this goes any further, I do adore those two fan films to death, but they are spoofs AND of low quality, but I believe the first fact outweighs the 2nd. As films, they are low quality. As spoofs, they are top notch, but to appreciate the silly Twoness you really do have to put yourself through the Uber-Pretentious Duality first.
Duly noted! I shall take them as they are meant. Thanks, xhonzi!

b) You'd rather have a Strawberry ice cream than a proper OOT? That's just silly...
c) ...but then I read your list of demands, and getting what you want seems pretty unlikely, so I'll sign off on your demands.
Thanks, Frink! I can never find precisely the right degree of silliness. Yes; I am lactose intolerant, so no real ice cream for me... :-(
Seeing as you are now the Ice Cream Man, Frink, and at the present moment, not having had a dessert, a Strawberry ice cream would be better than a proper release of the OOT. Only, I do not want any of those sprinkles on the top, and it would have to be soy ice cream, as I am lactose intolerant, and I want a proper wafer, not a cornet.
I was thinking of fans who would invest the sort of time, skill and effort that Adywan and Darth Editous put into their productions, but yes some fan films do bring on a shudder. The Hunt for Gollum is really good.
I shall watch the other two you listed. I have not seen them.
xhonzi said: Prequel Redos (that I like). That would be better than a proper release of the OOT. Adywan and the like can restore the OOT well enough, but the PT... man that is a mess. If we got a remake, that was awesome... well, then it WOULD BE AWESOME! (by definition)
Yes; I would love to see totally fanmade prequels, based on fan-written stories about the fall of the Old Republic, using seventies-style models and techniques that would match the OOT. That would be better than a remake of the OOT.

Since you brought it up in here - what show is that from?
xhonzi said:
Twice! TWICE! I posted teh Jacksonz eating teh p0pcrnz!
LOL!
Borrow some of Frink's GIFs...

Oh, man... he's still not ignoring me...
You are obviously not trying hard enough, xhonzi.
Moth3r said: Think he is easily upset. Check earlier ITT.
I think that you are right, Moth3r. I was being somewhat facetious about the cat issue though. It was just chance really that he mentioned his cat after Frink posted a GIF of one. I was not aware that one could put a moderator on ignore though.
TV's Frink said:
There was no need to edit. I meant to do a ;-) instead of a :p
I guessed that you did, but I decided that you were probably right anyway, and it was not really relevent here.
TV's Frink said:It might just be because I don't pay enough attention, however.
Sorry, what were you saying? :D
Interestingly, The Hong Kong BD of Red Cliff has 7.1 Mandarin tracks encoded with Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HA MA and uncompressed PCM on the same disc! I cannot help thinking that this is a waste of space, but someone obviously disagrees.
I have a hard time hearing a difference between lossy and lossless audio to be honest.
Sorry, Frink! I shall edit that post or people will start ignoring me! :D
It is interesting to see Frink telling people they are off topic though... :-)
doubleofive said:
Seriously dude, its just a compression algorithm.
The whole situation with Jedi Temple34 is amusing though! It looks like A B C has decided to put him on ignore.
I am sure you are right, Frink. It would be funny though. I used to love that show.

Thanks for the video of Hamill. That was great. I ****ing love that he doesn't know the names of planets and the jawa-mobile. Why would he?
I love it too. It really shows that he has had a full life outside of Star Wars and does not take it all too seriously. I like Mark Hamill. He always comes across as a really nice laidback guy.
