Ouch. I personally wouldn’t even bother, but I appreciate the effort people are putting in. I’ve gotten pretty lazy with my editing lately and it seems like if a project becomes too hard I give up faster than I should… 😄
Since you’re still here RogueLeader, I’d be curious to know how Leia’s saber is coming along now that the BluRay is out? I was going to mention this earlier, but I noticed with your last picture of Ben and Rey that the purple glow seemed to be coming a little too far down onto the hilt. Or does it usually look that way?

Ugh! I was legitimately engaged in the discussion before someone managed to bring up my stupid forest establishing shots! I’ve said before that I’m not going to bother with Mustafar anymore. Anyone care to share any screenshots of a colour changed Exegol, just for the sake of changing the subject? 😄

Just made a great discovery today:
A whole bunch of 1977-1983 Kenner Star Wars figures at an antique store!
I had never owned any of these but managed to pick up a couple for around $12 each! Unfortunately, most of the '77 ones were too damaged. 😦
I did however grab a Lobot, Bossk, Klaatu, Bespin Guard and Bib Fortuna in GREAT condition!

Yep. More than happy to. I have yet to rip the BluRay so I have been doing my ‘practice’ edits on shitty 720p digital download footage. Yuck! 😦
So in this case, yes, you will need to send me the footage first, then allow me to spend a couple more days working on it. Usually I would be able to supply the edit within a day, but currently I’m a little busier than usual…

This idea is certainly impractical and on the extreme side, but I suppose I’m trying to illustrate something I felt Palpatine lacked. Like you said, that sense of decrepitness. I picture creatures like a lich, a mummy, Frankenstein’s monster. I think even overlay a dry, cracked or veiny skin texture could help add to that feeling possibly. They nailed the eyes, but the rest of the face looks rather normal to me.

While it is always crucial to provide fan-editors with a constant flow of new ideas and concepts, I believe the fundamental conventions that run this community dictate that when a fan-editor hears you out, responds to your idea and makes the descion to NOT work with it, the best thing to do in the situation is to leave it at that and not bring it up again. OR, do it yourself!

Pre-transformation Palpatine looks more like Ian McDiarmid with white contacts, to me, instead of looking like the Emperor. I don’t know if that makes sense, but there seems to be very little make-up on him that we associate with the Emperor, beyond making him extremely pale.

I believe the intention was to make it like Palpatine’s spirit was possessing a fresh, un-deformed, new corpse body. Once he is ‘restored’ he resembles the true Sith Palpatine appearance.
