Thanks. If possible, could you comment on any of the stuff he’s posting to make it clear that he is NOT me and those videos have nothing to do with me.

Got a response to my reporting of him as an impostor, BTW:

Aren’t mugshots publicly available? Isn’t there a database?

JEDIT: I guess it depends on the city. There are plenty of databases to look through, though.

I found it actually, but it’s too easy for someone to reverse image search to tie my account to my real name and address. If the page I found were redacted a bit more, I’d post it.

I see the f**ker has made another account using my bloody real name this time. Suck a sad little person who can only get attention by impersonating someone else.

EDIT: The user TheRealAdywan, that just posted there, is actually me this time. I created an account solely to confront this guy, but it’s highly doubtful that i will be contributing much.

Is there no one in authority at reddit you can make aware of the situation? Get verified like people do on twitter to thwart impostors?

On Reddit? Ha! Best case scenario is for Ady to make an account and do an AMA (basically a Q&A with Reddit users), which usually verify the person is who they say they are. Then he can point to the AMA for verification.

But the account itself can’t be tagged as “verified” or anything, I don’t think.

Hopefully that stupid cop won’t fuck you over.

Turns out he did. I’ll find out how bad exactly at the courthouse tomorrow after work. Assuming I don’t get pulled over on my way to or from and arrested on an open warrant.

I’m mostly pissed that it took over a week for anything to happen about it. I’d rather have woken up in the drunk tank and gotten the charges and bail part over with then.

Thanks guys. I’m definitely off drinking for quite a while. Haven’t had anything since then. And still no sign of any charges filed, so I think I’m safe there (though my mom keeps insisting that I’ll be charged). I think the officer, since he knows my dad, did him a favor and didn’t file anything - also from what I can gather I spit in the cop and nurse’s faces, I didn’t hit anyone, so I’m hoping the nurse decided not to file charges either.

Definitely the closest brush I’ve ever had with the law and do not intend to repeat the experience.

Don’t drink in the pouring rain after having walked 5 miles in the heat and sun for hours when you haven’t eaten all day, kids.

TFA: A Gentle Restructure (Released)
Time

Wonder if this might work better and/or give you more freedom to make some more personal changes if this was an “offshoot”/“proper HAL 9000” edit of TFA rather than a Restructured 3.0?

Just a thought, I’m not sure if there are any changes you want to do but are hesitant to due to sticking to the “Restructured” label that you might implement if you were divorced from the goals of Restructured. If so, I’d splinter “3.0” off into its own thing to pair with TLJ Legendary, but if there isn’t anything more you’re itching to change then sticking with 3.0 would be fine, even with some of the “extra” changes (which already started creeping in with 2.0 anyway).

Okay, I’m back (I think). Looks like I missed some…stuff.

Possessed PMd me after my last post, so I’ll just copy/paste my explanation of what happened that I sent him right here:

Monday afternoon, my friend and I went for a walk, ended up drinking a bunch of rum, it started pouring down rain so we started running around in it because we’re both basically children, then I woke up shackled to a hospital bed, was told I was found unconscious and alone with a head wound on the street with no wallet or keys and assaulted a police officer and a nurse when I came to after getting a CAT scan.

Never found my keys. My friend had my wallet - she woke up alone a couple blocks away under a truck (no injuries), couldn’t find me, and called a friend to pick her up.

When I finally started retaining memories I was at my parents’ house arguing with them and they were telling me they were going to have be committed for 72 hours if I didn’t calm the fuck down. I eventually did and they took me home. Luckily they found my car and had an extra set of keys for it. And I managed to make it to my first day at my new job the next morning, though with a lot of bandages, swollen wrists, and a limp.

Still no charges filed that I can find, but apparently the cop was going to arrest me, but knew my dad so let them take me home. Still said he was going to file charges for assaulting a police officer and assaulting a medical professional with the prosecutor’s office (both felonies), but that was Monday night and still nothing, so…?

I’m definitely off drinking for a while. Guess my BAC was .35 … Yeah.

Not gone for good (or even very long), but I’ll be taking a sabbatical for a week or two while my injuries (physical and mental) from a drunken Labor Day that I still have little to no memory of heal up some.

Also until I know whether or not I’m being charged with a felony because of it, like my parents still seem to insist will happen even though it’s been days and there’s still nothing under my name when I search beyond a speeding ticket 9 years ago…

This issue only first bugged me when George Bush (Jr.) kept saying “we have to pray”. Every time something happened, those seemed to always be his words - “we have to pray”. Well, I’m not religious, and it just kinda bugged me that the president of a democratic country ostensibly with separation of church and state seemed so intent on having me pray.

Even though we have separation of church and state, the President is still an American Citizen and the Bill of Right apply to him just as they do with other citizens. He has freedom of religion and speech. This means he can be a Christian and pray and can say that he thinks others should pray as well.

I know he has that right. But it doesn’t seem appropriate to me to use this particular office as a pulpit. It’s not part of the job description - quite the contrary. That’s kinda what separation of church and state means.

I don’t think separation of church and state means that it is inappropriate for the President to ask people to pray

I think that’s exactly what it means,

No, it means he can’t force people to pray, it doesn’t mean he can’t ask.

No, but it’s certainly inappropriate in my view, specifically because of the concept of separation of church and state.

I guess we have a different opinion on what separation of church and state. I don’t think it means the President can’t ask for prayer.

No, it doesn’t mean he can’t, but the fact that such a separation exists means the President should respect that he’s a representative of the government and not a private citizen while he’s in office and as such, probably shouldn’t be asking people to pray.

I think that’s exactly what it means, and I don’t think what he’s asking people to pray for is relevant to the question in any way.

Redesigning the SW logo to be unstacked
Time

Then I’m either not sure that I understand what you’re looking for, or you didn’t understand which logo I was referencing. It’s the one on the spine of this cover, not the one on the front. Which is on a single line and does not, in fact, look like two trapezoids sitting next to each other, so from my reading of your request, it’s exactly what you’re looking for:
