Yeah, it’s all good, man.
I am also pissed at being accused of offending victims of sexual assault and misogyny. No reasonable ration person should be offended by what I said earlier.
You don’t get to decide who your words offend.
I do have the right to have an opinion on what is and isn’t reasonable to be offended about. The mere mention that something that is possible is in fact possible is not something that should offend anyone.
What’s offensive and what isn’t is entirely subjective. You’re free to say what you want and others are free to be offended. Being offended that others are offended, which is what you seem to be, is hypocritical.
Believing in due process means assuming everyone’s innocence until proven otherwise. That includes the women who approached Sen. Flake in the elevator. You had no reason to suggest they might be paid actors and you’re being called out for it. As they say, freedom of speech doesn’t mean freedom from consequences.
All of this.
You take this place way too srsly
Truest statement I’ve seen all day.

Peace y’all I’m going to the woods to grow trees.
High.
Oh hey there. How them trees lookin?
It also isn’t uncommon for people who were drunk to not remember what they did while they were drunk.
Triggered.
No, the cockpit shot did not need everything shifted. Your “correction” is not really an improvement at all IMO. In many ways it’s worse. I honestly don’t know how you don’t see that when comparing your version to the BR or to others’ attempts.
Anyway, I’m done now, since you refuse to listen to advice from people with real experience. Instead you seem to assume your way is the right way, even when the flaws in so many different levels of your approach have been pointed out and tangible advice on how to correct these flaws has been offered many times along the way.
Have fun making everyone purple.
Because it shifts everything, not just individual color channels, which you can do easily with levels or curves adjustments on individual RGB channels.
But why do you think hue adjustment is the only way to fix it and not curves or levels adjustments?
Why do you think that?
Do you think maybe there might be a reason why people keep going on about calibrating your monitor? Or why professional colorists don’t touch hue?
please stop going on about Calibrated monitors, If everyone has these calibrated monitors and Luke still Has a pink Jumpsuit in all the Color Corrections then something must be wrong with your Calibrated monitors.
Oh my God.
Well, yeah, that’s true too, but I seem to remember the pixel misalignment issue being a reason given by Poita at one point.
And I’m still sitting here waiting for a good stereo mix of Revolver…
If you just scan at 1080p/2K, there’s a nonzero chance the pixels printed to the film won’t line up with the pixels being scanned, so you’ll lose information. 4K guarantees you’ll pick up every digital pixel that’s on the print.
I will give you that it looks better… But I don’t think it quite hit’s the same mark as shifting the Hues to bring it more in line with other shots we see that are not so badly affected.
Dude, yours looks like you just overlaid a magenta cast and called it a day. Everyone else’s actually has color variation throughout the image.
easier gooberfish consumption.
Looks fantastic! And yeah, I prefer the Resolve version as well.
Fuck my apartment complex’s management.
So I was significantly late on rent this month thanks to other issues that came up that required stuff like…well…bail money and an attorney. Because of this, I had to pay my rent through means other than the usual online portal. Fine, whatever.
I talked to the leasing office people and asked how much I owed (with extra fees), and if I had to pay with a cashier’s check or money order. They specifically said “either.” Went and got a money order today because it’s slightly cheaper, and brought it to them…
…only to be told, oh, no, we don’t accept money orders in any capacity and haven’t for years, it absolutely has to be a cashier’s check.
So now I don’t know what the fuck to do. I guess I lucked out that I hadn’t yet filled out the “Pay to” part of the money order, so I can just fill in my own name(?) or a friend’s and get the cash back that way, then use it to buy a cashier’s check, but I seriously shouldn’t have to do this. I’d understand (maybe) if the money order was issued from a gas station, but it’s from Chase Bank. And they won’t accept it? Are you fucking kidding me?
Okay then.
It’s accurate to the quality of the movie, at least. Ugh.
Could the guy be dubbed to casually say, “Poison,” instead of, “Salt”?
It isn’t casual, but this made me think of Leslie’s reaction to the Swanson family grain alcohol in Parks and Rec.
FYI Wook, I think most of the stuff you’re referencing isn’t in the theatrical cut of the film, which is what MFM watched. I know there’s definitely one new scene in the SE/DC that shows him having a much more negative effect on his family beyond what’s shown in the theatrical. Plus all the golf vs. Pinocchio stuff.
I think the idea was for him to be a blank slate so any viewer could “follow” him through his descent into possible insanity. If he was a more distinct character, you’d lose that (theoretically) universal relatability.
Personally, I always thought he was kind of a dick from the get-go, but that might be something that’s more apparent in the SE/DC.
