You can’t disable Presidential alerts on cell phones. In fact, I’m pretty sure they’re the only ones you can’t disable.

Honestly, I’m a little disturbed that I can have my phone on silent while I’m at work, and a presidential alert doesn’t make a sound, just has a little silent push notification. Feel like a presidential alert should cut through all those types of settings, no?

I admit to having problems(a lot of problems) with Bingo. But I will say he was very nice to me when my father died, so I think I may have misjudged him. I thought we were getting along better before he took this latest leave of absense.

I deeply regret the accusation I made against Frink that he was mocking my Christianity. But I admitted I was wrong and apologized.

I don’t think I have accused him of harassing me. I do believe he has made some adversarial posts about me and I do believe he is angry with me. But I do not accuse him of harassment.

As for others:

I will admit to feeling ganged up on at times and that I feel I am not as well liked/respected as I used to be. It may be a combination of my own fault and the fault of others. I wish things were different.

Then of course there is the one charge of harassment against a certain forum member that I still believe to be true.

The larger point is - if we went through your post history and gave examples of false claims of harassment or bullying with links, it would be multiple pages long and probably crash the forum.

Yeah, while I wouldn’t advertise it on the forum openly, I personally think that if you’ve bought any home video release, then a 35mm restoration project like 4K77 is fair game.

Granted, that’s technically against forum rules, so like I said - I wouldn’t advertise it.

If you own the 2006 GOUT DVD, though, you’re for sure in the clear to get GOUT-based projects like Dark_Jedi’s anamorphic cleanups and HD upscales.

I think the goal of this project is less about preserving existing subtitles and more to provide accurately translated subtitles in as many languages as possible so the original films can be enjoyed as closely to their original intention as possible by (nearly) anyone around the world.

Any “preservation of the original translation” type subtitles are just a bonus to accurately translated ones.
