Same. The spine logo looks a little “thin” to me for some reason I can’t quite place, too.

It should work fine in mkvtoolnix or tsmuxer as long as it’s a .w64 and not a .wav - at least, that’s what I did with v2.0 after converting the .wav to .w64.
Still no clue how to get it to burn to a BD50 and work in a PS4, though I do now have a standalone UHD BR player and haven’t tried it on that (waiting on v2.1 before I waste more discs).
RIGHT?!?!
I know this really isn’t the place for this, but I was just reading TheDigitalBits’ review of Blade Runner 2049’s UHD BR, and…
Harmy, you worked on 2049?!?! Did anyone else know about this?!
That RAGE cover Paja posted got a laugh.
I assume it’s supposed to look like Cage just bombed somebody’s car, but it looks like he doesn’t yet realize that somebody’s just bombed his car.
Ha! “Do I smell barbecue…?”
Was Ragnarok any good? I ended up not watching that one theatrically, unfortunately. And does anyone know when will the bluray come out?
It was good as an action comedy, but I wasn’t a fan of the complete and utter tonal shift from the first two films.
Awwww yeaaaa! Can’t wait!
Right here. Most of their sources are the official “Art Of” books for TFA and TLJ.
Yeah, that might work. I’m actually partly wrong though, they’re talking about his standoff against the walkers before the duel, not the duel itself.
I think they’re speaking another language, but the toy setup is clearly the walker standoff.
Luke in exile because he failed at training Han and Leia’s child was straight from Lucas’ outline he sold to Disney in 2012. The biggest difference was, in his outline, that would have been part of the story told in VII, rather than something that happened between VI and VII. Luke would exile himself in VII after a character based on Darth Talon literally seduced Han and Leia’s kid to the dark side with Luke failing at preventing this, then Luke would have to be found by “Kira” (later Rey) in VIII.
Lucas hired Arndt to write VII, but he had a problem with Luke in VII taking too much focus away from the new leads. It was Abrams’ and Kasdan’s idea to make finding Luke the MacGuffin of VII, pushing his appearance to the ending to avoid overshadowing the new leads, which also meant that the fall of Ben Solo had to happen off-screen before VII.
There’s more of Lucas’ ST in the final product than many are claiming, but his VII pretty much got split between the final version of VII and VIII.
Except that the kids playing with the Luke doll are reenacting the Crait “duel” between Luke and Ben.
I wouldn’t mind including the necklace scene in I. It’s a nice moment between the two, even if it doesn’t pay off in your edits, and it helps a bit if someone wants to use, say, your I and someone else’s III that includes the funeral and/or balcony scenes.
Blutopia is also WAY more strict than MySpleen ever was about seeding and invites.
I try to post in every thread to maximize my income.
Frink is a corporate shill: confirmed.
Just got home from work to find the power out in my entire apartment complex. Yay.
I’m sorry you have to go through this, Bingo, but it really seems like you’re headed in the right direction. And I’m very sorry for the way you’ve been treated by those you thought were in your corner. You deserve better than that. Fuck them.
Because she’s in love with him after knowing him for all of 16 hours.
I don’t think so but can’t check at the moment. There’s a thread for it on fanres in the completed projects section, someone in there can probably get you a link.
I’m not 100% sure it contains any of the other extra Japan-only bits, though, just the House of Blue Leaves fight in color with the rest being the US version.
The Beatles’ cover of Long Tall Sally is probably my favorite of their “early” work. That and I Saw Her Standing There.
…okay, I’ll bite. Why?
I’m a 20 years old and of course I know Star Wars is big now but how huge was it in the 20th century
Have you never seen any documentaries about Star Wars? 😕
Yeah, that was part of a whole “Endor ghosts set” or something. I’ve got it in my parents’ basement somewhere. Think I also had a separate ghost Obi-Wan that came individually, but I can’t remember for sure.
I have the “force ghost obi-wan” figure that I got from sending in bar codes from frito-lay in '97(?). Kellogg’s also had a Han figure in Stormtrooper costume that I sent away for (during the “one last time” campaign around 1995).
Oh right, I remember now! Yeah, I have both of those, too.
I’m ambivalent on the nowhere joke, but I loved the tickling joke.
I’ve been in your shoes man. Get whatever closure you need, and cherish the memories, but get out of there. Trust me. The sooner you move on the sooner your can be happy with somebody that wants that with you and then the painful sad memories can turn into fond distant memories. Trust me.
I’ve been in this situation too, more times than I can count, and it never ends with the friendship intact as it was before.
So I was thinking about rewatching Donnie Darko, and when I looked it up I saw there is a “Director’s Cut”. Do you guys think I should watch the theatrical or the director’s cut?
And by the way, is there any way I can watch the theatrical THX 1138?
Definitely theatrical for Donnie Darko, though I’ll admit to being one of the few who prefers the music changes in the DC. But that doesn’t make the rest of the DC worthwhile.
I joined at 13 in 2003 and I’d probably cringe myself inside out if I were to read what I posted back then.
