There’s a big, big difference between a “normal speed” and “relativistic speeds” when you approach (but don’t exceed) lightspeed, though. I wouldn’t consider .95c to be anything close to a “normal speed,” and that’s still only 95% the speed of light. In my mind, you have to hit a relativistic speed like .95c to punch a hole through realspace into hyperspace, which allows you to travel faster than c (aka lightspeed).
Makes sense to me that a ship would need to accelerate to the proverbial 88mph to punch a hole through realspace in order to enter hyperspace. *shrug*

For what it’s worth, in the novelization, Poe sets a hyperspace entry point before Leia and Holdo retake command of the ship. That entry point is never changed, so when Holdo is alone on the ship waiting to die, she notices it - and because the ships have kept moving that whole time, the entry point is now behind the First Order fleet. That’s what gives her the idea to try it - because the ship will be accelerating to near lightspeed prior to hitting the hyperspace entry point.
So the “hyperspace ramming” actually occurs before the ship enters hyperspace, while the ship is accelerating to near-lightspeed in realspace.
It was basically her seeing where the entry point was plotted in relation to the position of the fleet, getting the idea, and going “Huh, wonder if this will work? Can’t hurt to try since I’m dead at this point anyway.”

As far as my judgment goes C+ isn’t particularly good either. It’s just kind of okay, or at least adequate. Land Before Time is at least worth a solid A-.
Yeah, pretty much this. TLBT definitely deserves a B+ at minimum if you ask me.
The Phasma scene proves pretty clearly that BB-8 driving the AT-ST was always a thing, and the elevator scene has way more out of place comedy than the replacement infiltration scenes that were in the movie, so I don’t really buy the “reshoots to add more comedy” thesis.
The Land Before Time (1988) - Would have been a great movie if the dinosaurs didn’t talk. C+
Dom is dead to me as well. And this one isn’t nostalgia, I’ve watched it in the last year. Still one of the best Don Bluth films.
I mean, I, Jedi is a book that literally exists to insert Corran into the Jedi Academy Trilogy, so it doesn’t surprise me that he did the same thing later on down the line with another series.

Corran is a bit of a “Mary Sue” in the X-wing books and I, Jedi. But I never read anything with him in it later in the timeline so I can’t speak to later developments.
I don’t believe it. Why would they just walk away from it when it’s doing so well? From what I gather, it’s meant as an end to Phase Three, but there are still things planned to come from Phase Four.
Oh, I wasn’t saying it would be the actual end of the MCU, but that it’s designed as the culmination of everything until now. Like a season finale rather than a series finale, if you will.
Good thing Infinity War/Avengers 4 seems to be designed as a 2-part “finale” for the series, then.
Also glad to here you’re alright, Ray. Agreed that not having transportation sucks - hopefully you can get it resolved soon, and if not, that you’ve got enough of a support network that you won’t be totally screwed when it comes to needing rides to and from places.
Tony needs to die a permanent death. Not because I don’t want more RDJ/Stark in the MCU, mind you - because it’s the only proper ending for his character arc throughout the MCU.
Cap should die, too, probably. And that’s just because it’s fitting that he’d sacrifice himself, not because it needs to happen the way Tony’s death does.

I don’t tend to bother with 100%ing or trophy collecting, however I did 100% Crash 2 and 3 with some buddies in college (trading off levels and lives and the like) and that was tons of fun (though I’d beaten the games on my own years before).
