Pat already got 6,098. I was just filling in all the ones he missed in between. Would had for people to assume those ones never happened. 6,097 isn't a very attractive number, is it? Kind of feel the same about 6,089, it is almost like it is trying to be sequential but sucking it up, right? I mean like, 6,789 only it is so daft it replaced the 7 with a zero by mistake. 6,089 is a daft number and I don't care much for it, hence the lack of a smile.

"The real, 24 fps version"? Seriously? What makes that the "real" one? It is being filmed in 48 fps. The 24fps will be the converted, altered, version of the movie. At this point, it is almost like preferring a 16:9 aspect ratio to such a degree that you insist on watching everything in 16:9 or wider, even if it means cropping something that was originally filmed and presented in 4:3 "so that the movie will not be ruined".

I sometimes don't get this resistance to change. Some of us in here sound like we're a few years shy of being ready to live in a nursing home. Don't get me wrong, it is great to prefer older technology, I love listening to my music (even new stuff) on vinyl, can't stand watching movies in gimmicky 3D, and am certainly a fan of film over digital. But I can certainly see the advantages of CD's and high quality digital recordings, why a lot of people find it fun to go to 3D movies, and the pluses of shooting digitally. I think it is quite ridiculous to oppose something new only because it isn't what you are used to seeing.

Oh man! Back during my traveling days that book spent substantial amounts of time sticking halfway out of my back pocket. Read it so many times, such a good read. It's one of my go to comfort books. Such good stuff. Vonnegut in general is pretty amazing.

I drank way too much last night. I have a female friend who is rather large (not my thing) who is always jokingly flirting with me. Last night she sent me some rather disturbing nude photos of herself while I was half in the bag (at only 8PM mind you). Oh man, I hate those situations! I've gotten myself in a lot deeper than you though. So, a year ago I could honestly say I've never slept with anyone I wasn't really attracted too. I mean, all my women had been really hot. Since then, I've woken up next to two different rotund women. Both times I was drunk, both times I felt icky the next day, and both times I recall some perverse drunken chivalrous thoughts from the night before of, "Aw, no way this poor girl ever gets male attention, might as well give her the night of her life.", and both times it followed me for several agonizing days as she pursued a relationship and wouldn't take a hint. So very awkward.

I hate being such an asshole. :(
