I’m not disputing that. I would’ve preferred Luke staring into the sunset to be the final shot. But I’m not devastated. Still interesting things to do.

To be fair, what Luke did was both entirely different and on a much larger scale.

I’ve long had a Peter Green era mega-compilation and most of the Buckinham-Nicks-era Albums. I recently picked up this set. Not sure why it’s called “original album series” as it’s second-era, but I’m really digging it!

(Also, I find the nude on the first cover offensive 😉 )

Another thing that rubs me the wrong way is the idea that I can’t possibly understand how awful it is that females appear nude in film because I’m not a woman that’s sick and tired of the objectification (and by the way there’s plenty of women that don’t feel that way). Many an actress has a nude double. Both the worst and best kept secret in the industry.

That’s also pretty common. I don’t see a problem with that either if they can make it work effectively. In that example I gave, though, sometimes the actor’s face needs to be in frame for it to work, especially if there’s interaction between characters during the scene.

I think there have been a couple instances of digital head replacement in recent years.

I think it’s the ‘just’ that comes off as weird. As if it should be obvious that it’s less awkward to watch a sex scene with one’s little sister than their parents.

yeah, they covered up the actual bookend brace that holds the books up

actually looking at it again, it’s possible that the first book is closed around the brace
